  1. Nice Dan! I have been seeing a lot of this style Crown Vic back on the streets lately ( about once a week) I think they saved some and brought them back with how many newer ones have been sold. Sneeky but clever. I have one question for you though.. Did Phoenix actually use that lightbar on that style? I know Glendale did and still does. Great looking car. I want to make a Phoenix PD with the newer graphics but need to find a decal source.
  2. That's a great looking firetruck Dan. Being your a retired fire fighter I sure hope you don't take offense to the one I brought to the project table Any hoot nice ways to come up with details since the build is a year older than me.
  3. Great looking ex police squad/air craft carrier. I loved the small hub caps on mopar police units. Very well represented.
  4. Truck looks really neat. Changing it over to a different vehicle instead of Nascar is a good idea. Tour paint looks good too. I think my only suggestion would be to shave the bottom of the front bumper spoiler a little so it matches the sides. It looks like it's dragging. Other than than it is a great way to think outside the box. Nice work.
  5. Everyone knows that if it's dentless at the end of the race, than it didn't race that hard Just Kiddin thought, car looks great.
  6. Fantastic job on a Nismo Skyline. Everything about looks right. I also like the idea of not having a huge spoiler as well.
  7. ^^^^ Love the audience
  8. Looking great so far. Those wheels are perfect for the build too.. Pegasus? Body work is very well done too.
  9. Here is my workbench this weekend. Last weekend I went camping so it was empty just ready to take stuff to work. Now Ecto is apart with a clear on it. Hopefully I'll get to it more today (sunday). You can see some misc projects like my Hot Wheel I have to finish. A camper idea not posted yet at all. My old 75 Road Runner etc. Enjoy and have a great weekend everyone.
  10. I've actually wanted one of these kits for a long time. Let us know of any fit issues.
  11. Off to a great start Jim. I used to have a black model like this but it was one that got destroyed. I'm watching.
  12. Very well done I like this boat a lot!
  13. Looks like a good package to me.
  14. I have some different sized wires so I'll have to play around with it. Thanks Jim I know you have been watching and thanks for the comments and support. I'm glad you like it
  15. Thanks buddy. I am planning on doing the interior and the windows today. I have some real car window tint I am going to try. I also need to do my tires and wheels too. I found a white pen I will try and hope it works for the tire lettering. Thanks for all the pictures you gave me I printed up a few of them
  16. We know you do great saves so this should be good but wow what was the previous owner thinking?
  17. David thats a good idea but it still has to be a long one. It's a big "whip' antenna like you would see on a 4x4 for a cb radio.
  18. I have seen some really close to scale brick wall paper print at Hobby Lobby. It's only about 60 cents for a 8x10 sheet. There is really good looking brick in the model railroad hobby from Woodland Scenics.
  19. Hey buddy! I'll say it here too congrats!!!! Hopefully I'll get something done on Facebook this weekend I hope to have a new addition and a small tutorial by weekend end. Enjoy the new born and I'm glad he is ok. I almost lost my wife with the birth of my son. He was supposed to be twins. Lost one, he was in the hospital for 2 weeks and she was in for almost a week. My prayers are with you for his continued strength.
  20. Great looking paint and do not be worried about others building something you are doing. In the long run yours will be personalised and different no matter what kit you build.
  21. I am loving the look of this build and I have always thought this was a neat car. Wheels look great. I almost bought the Tamiya one today. Seeing this I wish I did since the car just begs for attention.
  22. This is shaping up nicely and has a neat look to it. Nice work so far.
  23. I see you ventured into the windows. I've been mixed on this since the 2 part tint will hide most interior details. I'm glad you didn't make my mistake and forget the white part of the rack. Mine was to far build to go back.
  24. Another small update 8/13. Decals are done. I still need to cut them for the blackwash for the door jams. I have a bit of touch up to do on the flat black. A few more details are painted. I also have the front lights and rear lights in. I still need to paint a few things and right now everything is mocked up still so I can clear or Future the car. Enjoy!
  25. Scored the Pontiac for free to use for my Pikes Peak Blazer and the Mustang was on clearence at Hobby Lobby for $13.
