  1. There are so many I could list but the one's I would love to see the most would be. 1995 Ford Bronco so I could finally make a replica of my actual one! I know its possible to build one your self and I will eventually but a kit would be so much easier. 88-91 Honda Civic, both the SI hatchback and the Sedan. For some reason I love these year Honda's 91-92 Acura/Honda Integra, I always wondered why they never made this one.
  2. I get mine from alot of places it really just depends on what Im looking for. For the rims you are talking about scaledreams or modelexpress carries them, they are made by pegasus hobbies normaly. Also alot of Japanese model companies like Aoshima and Fujimi make rims that look amazing but can be hard to find. What I do sometimes as well is go find a cheap diecast car with rims I like but it and just use the whole thing for parts.
  3. Looking great so far! I think you and me have really similar tastes as far as imports go. Cant wait to see this completed!
  4. Just got these in the mail. Ordered them as a Christmas gift for myself, figured I wasnt building enough imports. Can you tell I like Nissan's
  5. Quick question, did you scratch build the bumpers?
  6. Great looking truck! Cant even tell it was once two kits. I plan on doing this soon to make a replica of my 1:1 95 Bronco.
  7. Mine was the Revell Mustang Super Stallion. Im only 18 so thats what they had out when I was a kid. Put it together with rubber cement and brushed on testors red paint. I remember wondering why it looked so bad. No clue what happened to it, it was in my basement for the longest.
  8. Just wanted to say very nice integra! Used to own a 94 myself, very fun cars.

  9. Love the car, the spray can's are a great touch!
  10. Small update. Got most of the interior and bay done. Still going to clean it up a bit but I am pretty happy with the results. Most of it is small details. Im planning on going back and adding some color to the rear seats as well. Going to try to add some wire's to the engine soon as well. Also sorry for the bad pics. Im working with a very cheap camra.
  11. Nice! I had a 94 LS/VTEC Integra a few years back myself. Honda's are great cars, I love them.
  12. This is the first build I have ever posted on here. The model is Revell's Civic Hatchback. I have built one of these before but It was only my second build so I messed it up pretty bad. This build for me is going to be somewhat of a dream car build. I love these cars in real life so I am planning on building this one like how I would build my own. I havnt done too much so far but I just picked it up today. So far I am going to be using the stock bumpers that came in the kit as well sa the stock wing. I never liked the looks of the body kits. It will be lowered and sitting on a set of Aoshima rims I picked up. Now onto the pics. First off here are the wheels. They are a set of Aoshima BBS RG's. I found them at my local shop somewhat hidden in the back. Very happy I found them! Next is a comparison of the motors. The one on the left is the one I just built, and the one on the right is from the first civic I built. Id say I did a pretty good job this time around. Its still not really done yet. Im planning on adding some wire's and other things to make it more realistic. This is what I have done so far on the dash and center console. Not much just small details but they are there and I think they add to the kit. And finally this is the stance I am going to hopefully have when I finish this build. This is just a mock up but Im pretty happy about the look. Im still debating on what color im going to paint it. Im thinking about trying to match the stock civic color called Midori greed. Im still thinking about a few other colors too though. Anyway thats all for now but stay tuned for updates!
  13. Looks great! I actually just built the same truck the same way with the exact same rims except the one I built is army green and the frame and bed are not nearly as nice as that.
  14. I cant wait to get my hands on some of those Bronco's. Finally I can build a 1:24 of my 1:1.
  15. Thanks for the welcome everyone!
  16. Hi all, my names Josh, Im 18, Im from Tennessee and love pretty much everything to do with cars. Im somewhat new to modeling, I got into it about a month ago when I bought a kit just to take up some empty space on a shelf. I started customizing the kit and then searched for forums online that talk about doing the same and came across this site. I found out all the things you can do to models and love that you can give them you own style instead of just building them out of the box. Anyway Im hoping to meet some great people on this site and learn some things as well.
  17. I just bought a few kits online for the first time through Modelexpress. All I can say is they are great. Very fast shipping, everything got here in great shape and they were very nice when answering my questions.
  18. I got five kits. 93 Ranger slash, 97 F150, early 90s F150, Toyota Hilux, and an Aoshima RX7 savana. Ive been wanting a few trucks so Im glad I got some. I also got a busted tail light but I found a replacement for $15 so thats not to bad.
  19. Your right they are non toxic. I use them in a very well vented area but you can still smell them somewhat when you take of your mask or when they are drying but its no where near as bad as oil based. What I was getting at was you could paint in a garage with a few windows open and the whole garage wouldnt smell for days because of it. Still as you said a mask is a very good idea even with them.
  20. I just bought some of the Testors Acrylic to try out. I love it. Ive been using it with an airbrush though so I cant really tell you how it would be with a brush. I like it though because it dosnt smell to bad and I can thin it with water.
