  1. Thanks, Both!!! Now this Monogram's Chevy Bel Air is FINISHED and it's now packed to model car show/contest tomorrow on Lahti, Finland. I'll post Under Glass post tomorrow, or at the latest, on sunday. GREAT THANKS to all who had took time to view and especially to post comment to this thread. Also Big Thanks for CrazyJim, MarkJ and Brett, the followers on this topic. Thanks all, and see you on under glass soon.
  2. Thanks, Gerald And Cole! Now this is the last update before it gets finished, then I post pictures to Under Glass. I have finished the engine bay with all of the details. I added also brake master cylinder and brake lines are on their places. Rear bumber is installed, headlights are on... Hood is completed too. Here are few pictures, maybe under glass post comes tomorrow, or sunday, I just don't have time for everything.
  3. That '55 Chevy looks cool. Love those Gassers. Here is another Gasser.
  4. That's tomorrow, it sounds like, I have to post a topic about it, but one thing is sure... It needs to be Detailed build, I'm sure about it.
  5. Thanks, Steve! This kit is really worth buying, great quality and great subject. I'm not sure yet, but that gearbox maybe needs something, maybe I do something for it, but maybe not.... Let's see.
  6. AMAZING job with this one! This is pretty radical, but that doesn't matter, it's very clean build without any mistakes. Like it, those front wheels are amazing, and rear tires look very good too.
  7. Great job with it. I like the color, and stance. Wheels and tires look very good too. Maybe those window trims could be foiled, but otherwise really great job on this. 409 engine gives HUGE pluspoint!
  8. Really cool! Weathering is very nicely done, and colors of this truck are great! I like those wheels and tires, stance is nice too. Really great job as always, keep these comin'.
  9. This is going to be amazing project. Those wheels fit really nicely and stance looks good on those pictures. Engine is amazing, those spark plug wires look bit different, but they are really clean like that, I like them. I'll be watching this one.
  10. This is very interesting build, can't wait to see Hudson completed. Keep it going, I'll be watching this one. And those Classic Chevrolets are looking really good too.
  11. Ok, here comes last update today. Tomorrow maybe one or two more and then Under Glass. I've continued engine detailing. I built brackets for the battery, but you can't see them well from these pictures. Also installed battery cables, and heater hoses. Built generator wires too, but they are not istalled yet. The radiator wall is painted and waiting for assembly, then I can istall water hoses etc. Still pretty many things to do, but they aren't big things. Brake master cylinder needs to be done too, and brake lines... Well, it must be finished before saturday morning, so tomorrow when I'm home from school, then I'll continue the building with full speed.
  12. Thanks, Virgil! Now the grille is waiting for assembly. I painted those "Dagmars" semigloss black. Also polished that hood, and some BMF to the badge on the frontend of it. Panel lines got some black wash too. It's getting there, now I need to go and get new bottle of super glue, old one is now empty and gluing metal parts needs super glue...
  13. Few more... This was the last set for now.
  14. Still few more, we have lots of these...
  15. I agree with Doctor Cranky! We have pretty much American cars, don't know, what you American people think of Hot Rodding in Finland, but we have FHRA=Finnish Hot Rod Association and lots of Hot Rods, Muscle cars etc. Some More.
  16. Can't wait to see more of this- bolts on the timing chain cover and oil pan are looking really good! I can't wait to get MPC Vega FC glue bomb, and get building it. It's 1/24 scale, but body is same style. Great progress, keep going.
  17. Well, it's getting close to finish, but now there are coming some more pictures. Not too many updates anymore, I'm trying to get this one finished maybe today, or tomorrow. At saturday I'm going to take this (and few other as well) to local model car show/contest. So tomorrow it needs to be done, but I think, that's not a problem. I glued chassis to body, everything fits really nicely right now, and now I'm waiting for glue to dry. Also added some black wash on the grille, and painted Chevrolet logo too.
  18. Thanks, David! Next week I maybe have enough time to sand it, and then new coat of paint. Chassis needs to be done too, but right now I'm bit busy with the '57 Chevrolet. Maybe next week I can get this build on the bench again.
  19. Super clean build! Is it modified from '41 Willys, or is it Resin or something? Detailing is great, and that works fine with gray primer. Wheel choice is prefect, and this is really Nostalgic and Old School Drag Racer, that's why I like it.
  20. Great looking '62 Bel Air! I like the paintjob, and finishing is great too. Even if I'm not huge fan of Lowriders, I must say that those wheels fit nicely. Great job as always, keep these coming....
  21. It looks good from here. But I'd like to see more pictures from it...
  22. Great job with it so far. Can't wait to see more. That color is great, and wheels look good too. I'm building AMT's '67 Impala and I'll use Rallye Wheels to it. Interior looks really nice, keep it coming.
