  1. Then Stock / Super Stock- group. One of my favorites! These are both with a Hemi!
  2. Then Street B- This is for Turbocharged 4 cylinder cars. Otherwise same idea as in C/D Street. Yes, it's a Diesel...
  3. More of these. Street C/D Group- heads up racing... This Plymouth Vip has 477" engine with Twinturbo. Best ET was 7,8
  4. Some Drag Race cars!!! These Pictures are taken in FINLAND, but some of those cars aren't finnish. But they are mostly finnish. Pro and Sportsman ET- group. With indexes, mostly Street cars. VW Karmann Ghia. Built in 10 days, can't remember how fast it was...
  5. That frame work looks simply amazing. That rear axle looks really good, nice details and great scratchbuilding on these parts. I like this build very much, can't wait to see more.
  6. Flathead looks much better than the four banger! So keep it. Great work so far with this build, and great to see RatRods which are built nicely and they are realistic.
  7. I think, that when it's layed- then paint primer and after the rear color some polishing and then that text comes out, so it's like polishing the paint off from that spot. Am I correct?
  8. This is going to be really interesting build, as always. That Camaro body looks good when it's not stretched or lowered. That Yenko theme should fit nicely to the Pro Street idea.
  9. I agree. And Monzas too. Well, all H-Bodies could be very welcome, there has been kits from them, but the prices are pretty high today...
  10. This one looks very good so far. Nice to see you back at your bench. Interior looks good and I like the tires and wheels. Color is nice and those stripes fit perfectly. Great job with it so far, can't wait to see more.
  11. Alright... Thinking about tire choice. I've ran out of Fairy Power Spray, which I'm using for stripping the paint, so now the body is waiting for a new bottle of it. Maybe monday I can get one bottle.... Well, rear slicks are something, I got today and they look good. I'm going to fit them inside this body. But front tires are bit tricky. I have three possible choices. Maybe Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires from AMT '70 Super Bee Pro Street, or then Good Year Frontrunner tires. One possible choice could also be those tires on the last picture. Those are installed to Pontiac Firebird FC which needs to be painted again. I'll be using some of those three for this build.
  12. Great job with it, very clean build. I like this color very much and those decals fit nicely to Pickup Willys too. Engine looks great also, and I like the tires and wheels. I like it, keep these coming.
  13. Wow, amazing work again. Great to see that these amazing builds are all Drag Cars. That front axle system looks just super, this is going to be absolutely beautiful. I'm going to get my jaw pieces from the floor now.
  14. More.. No burning rubber... And still one more...
  15. Here it is, Finished, finally. This was originally built by my friend, and it was supposed to be Salt Flat racer. BUT it turned to a Rat Rod, and it was looking like this: Then I got it, and idea was that I would not sand the body, only thing, I did was removing old glue from it. Then I built that little bed from styrene. There's nothing special with it, built just for fun, on a side of more serious projects. Frame is scratchbuilt, propeller shaft is shortened from Monkees Mobile's part, engine is from the parts box, grille is from '32 Ford and it's sectioned. Well, enough talk, here are the picture, and WIP topic can be found here: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=44400&hl=

This is cool! Color fits perfectly, and that engine looks really great! Amazing job with it, stance is very nice and I like the wheel and tire combo.
  17. That Rat Rod is FINISHED, and I'll post in on Under Glass section soon... Thanks for all of you, who have posted comments to this build. And next Hot Rod project will be in "Cars Of Rock 'n' Roll And Country Music" CBP. Thanks for following, other projects in this thread are keeping this topic still alive. (Hopefully)
  18. Gloss black of course, semigloss or matt black just doesn't fit. Nice project anyway, I'd like to see it with 15" wheels, but those aren't the worst ones, I've seen. Keep on the good work.
  19. It would be great idea to make those from aluminium. Chris, those pictures would be great. I must get some 1/24 scale bolts, photoetch, of course. Maybe scratchbuilding them is bit hard... Thanks, Both!
  20. WOW, this is really nice build! I like Gassers and other Nostalgic Drag Cars. This one is really nice. Stance looks good, and I like the wheel and tire combo. Paintjob is great too. I built also '57 Nomad Gasser about an year ago, and it was fun build.

Great job with it. I like these pictures alot, they look like 50 years old, maybe colors make them look like it. I like the two tone paintjob you've done, and engine looks very good, detailing is great.
  22. Great thanks to Chris who sent me the pictures, they really help, thanks alot! Now I have first two parts without paint. I must clean up them a bit. Body is almost without paint from the underside, that copper paint is still on. But not too long, hopefully.
  23. You all know the CAMARO CUP, don't you? We had it in the 80's here in Finland. Here is a video about it, it's the same track, as in my pictures. Track is called Ahvenisto, and this video is taken in 1984! http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x9dgab_ahvenisto-track-1984-camaro-cup_auto Now we have that Camaro Cup again, next year needs to be there watching it. The car in that picture was racing in the Camaro Cup. Driver was Robert Lappalainen and he is dominating in that video above (red car). Then that Camaro is built to Roadsport V8.
  24. Oh, I didn't know that. But my idea is to install 409 engine to '32 Ford 3 Window Coupe. Maybe with some NOSTALGIC speed parts, or then just Offenhauser style valve covers.... I'm not 100% sure, but it will be nostalgic Hot Rod. Thanks.
  25. Looks like Japanese people can build models very nicely too. I haven't seen any Japanese build, or then I just haven't noticed that builder really is from Japan. Great job.
