Scratchbuilt front axle... I built it from square brass tube what I used to Falcon also. It could be better, but it can be installed in this Rat Rod. I could have done this one lots of better, but this is built just for fun. In a side of those better models.

Truly amazing! That painting with alclad looks wicked. I like that burnt effect on the frontend of it. Engine detailing is jaw-dropping, as usual. That is just so smooth and clean build as always. I like to see this 2 in 1 version with the bubble top also. Great job with it.

Thanks, David. It's true, this kit has some problems, but it can be built really nicely when just taking time and do some modifications. I did not do them, but next time I will.

Wow, great looking body! I like those colors and paintjob is beautiful. Wheel wells on the rear are looking very good too, and engine looks great so far. That cowl hood looks cool too, great idea of using that '67 Chevelle scoop as a basis.

I try to tell something, but I don't know all of the words in english, so this may be bit hard... 1. I have no hinges on the hood. I have this problem in my '57 Nomad too, but next time I'm working on Monogram-based '57 Chevy, that needs to be fixed. I was looking at that gap when those parts were in primer, but mostly this is displayed with the hood off, so I didn't do anything for it. Next time needs to make it better. 2. Oh, that's my bad. But it's late now, I don't want that windshield to be black. I've forgotten that thing too many times. 3. On that picture, there's some mold flash. I thought, I was removed it, but when I got some paint on, it can be seen again. I used bad primer on this, and I didn't notice that when there was just a primer. Luckily it can't be seen so well in live. 4. This kit don't have those trunk lines there. And I don't have good "dymo" tape, so I didn't want to make too big damage for this body. Next time needs to fix that too. 5. Those were hard to install. I had to push them hard and then they "snapped" on their places so hard, that I couldn't turn them to correct way anymore. Next time needs to make few modifications to them before installing. 6. Yes, that is looking bad. I can't do anything for it anymore, because I must be very careful with the BMF on this, I don't want that Chevrolet text to come off... 7. Haha, I was thinking, how long it takes before someone notices that part is missing. I fix it, I install that part later, now I'm going to go and paint it. 8. Yes, you're right. I don't know how I installed them like this. Well, better job next time. 9. Masking tape needs to be used, looks like, I was bit lazy with it. Just bought good Tamiya's masking tape. 10. I need to buy polishing kit when I have money for it. Hope that pretty soon. Then needs to learn, how to use it. 11. I'm not sure of that thing. Kit instructions show to install all four mounting blocks to jack rearend high. I don't know about real cars, and I haven't built them yet. We had that style in 80's, but my dad wasn't huge fan of cars with jacked rear end.... I just went with kit instructions and maybe they are incorrect, but I fix that next time also... It has been long time since the last update. Now I modified those door panels to match opening doors. Now they fit fine, and doors should open and close nicely. Next needs to paint and put some flocking to interior floor, and I need to find Corvette seats and dashboard somewhere...

Futurliner is finished, not too great but with my skills it turned out OK. It was too hard to draw those Parade Of Progress textes to the side of it, so I left them off. Maybe I try to draw somekind of Front Engine Dragster or HotRod.

Just bought some goodies for this project from local Model Car show or contest. Some hood pins, photoetch parts of course and resin Holley Dominators. Hope I can use those hood pins, I've never tried that before.

This is very nice. I like the engine, and overall look is great. Even if I don't like modern wheels or modern engine parts so much, this car looks good. That paintjob is really great. Color looks very good too and detailing is nice. Thanks for sharing this one.

Hey, good looking builds, all of them. I just don't understand, why Toytota is driving NASCAR. It was for American Cars, originally. One question, what actually is COT build? I've wondered that few times and now I just have to ask about it.

Well, let it go, I'm going to strip the paint off from it. That shade of the color looks pretty good anyway, but I have something else in my mind... Yeah, Chevy engine should be something different, and if you want to win, it must be Chevy. :lol: Keith Black Hemi is great motor too, but as Chevrolet fan, I'd like to go with 454 BigBlock. And blower, of course.

But I'm pretty happy about the end result too, so it doesn't matter that project wasn't so quick build... And oh, those side vents... I forgot to paint them. I'll fix that. Thanks. And yes, constructive criticism is great, because when I hear what people think, I can do maybe something better next time. Of course it's nice to hear positive comments too, but tips and criticism helps me to do it better next time. Thanks everyone for the comments!

Awesome Drag Racer! Detailing is spectacular and color looks very good. I like that silver frame also, full of holes of course. Stance looks great, and I like that Remove Before Flight on the rear end of the car. Great job.

This one is really cool! I said in other thread that it should be nice to see Gasser Hudson, and now.... I can see one. It looks very good and this shows that I have to buy third Hudson kit too, when I got first two bought. And wow, AWB looks good, when I get this one, needs to make one Altered WheelBase Hudson... Your project looks very good so far, stance is great. Keep it coming, I'm watching this one too.

This is cool project, great scratchbuilding. That Corvair body fits nicely there. That frontend just looks cool. I like the stance, and rear tires are nice. Keep it going, I'm watching this one.
