  2. I like it, what's the scale ?
  3. Very nice build, still have to finish mine.....
  4. Thanks for the nice comments, I've done a black wash in the grill but the the holes are not very deep so the result was very bad, so I put out all the "wash" and let just a little bit not to have the "toy look". Might try another wash maybe...
  5. Looks good !!!!
  6. Some more pics: On the pics the wheels chrome looks a bit tired as we can see the plastic color under it but when looking at the model without APN flash, it's not so evident
  7. Hi guys, Back with an old built, it starts its life as a unpainted built kit, than I restore it more than 15 years ago. I decide to give it a refresh. Some new foil, new chrome bumpers from Modelhaus, and a good polish on the paint. Wheels I used were from the AMT 65 Riviera, and tires from "American Satco" ( remember this ??? ). Far from perfect but I still like the way it looks Hope you will like it too
  8. Wow beautiful paint job, very nice Gremlin !!!!
  9. Thanks, it comes from the '57 300 Chrysler from AMT, air cleaner from Johan kits
  10. Thanks for the nice comments
  11. I've done this two tone after seeing it on an original ad from 59 ( it was a convertible )
  12. Yes it's exactly this !!!
  13. Thanks for the nice comments !!!! The interior is from Modelhaus Dave, not the one from the Belvedere
  14. Some pics of the chassis and engine bay
  15. Hi guys, Back with an "old glory", a built from at least 10 years ago. The subject is one of my favorite as it is a 59 Dodge from Johan, interior from the Modelhaus, chassis and engine from an AMT 58 Belvedere. Be kind with this one as it is far from perfect ( especially the engine bay ) but I like it and the new pics are better than the first attempt as it was a rainy day when shooted the 1st time. It was a challenge to foil as there's a lots of chrome, the chrome on the bumpers is getting old but well, there it is.... Hope you'll like it
  16. No that is the stock Mercury wheels http://www.voorend.nl/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/cyclone-kl.3-630x472.jpg
  17. Thanks for the nice comments, The only stuff I bought from Modelhaus was the front bumper and grill ( it's in one piece ) and the front hood. All the rest was included in the Nascar kit, also the factory wheels !!
  18. Hi guys, back in the forum, I quite busy because I'm restoring a real car, so it is hard for me right now to finish a kit. Anyway I decide to show you an old friend, which is one of my favorite built kit, I think I never post it here. It starts as a Model King Nascar model, mixed with a Revell Torino and some Modelhaus stuff for the front grill and hood., vinyl top is home made, color is ( believe it or not ) from Citroen, and is very close to the green use in those years. Hope you'll like it
  19. Gorgeous !!! The stance, the choice of wheels and the paint !!! really nice !!!
  20. I really like your document !!! Don't you think they do a different way on red interior ??
  21. Thanks for the comments, I've detailed the interior after doing some research, and a nice pic off the back bucket seats
  22. I forgot to say that hubcaps came from 66 Fairlane, wheels from my parts box. And I'm quite happy about the flocking on this model, it goes well for once... Some more pics Hope you'll like it !!
  23. Hi guys not very present these days on the forum as I'm working on a 1/1. Anyway, here is my last model : a 66 Galaxie from AMT, an original from 66 which I bought as a glue and paint bomb. I don't know which glue has been used in this time but it was a mess to restore, and the body went on multiple pieces !!!!! So here it is, not my best work but considering the way it was before I start working on it, I'm quite happy. I will surely restore the chrome parts next time !!! My inspiration for this one came from the car David Vincent drove in the TV show, searching after uncommon people with fingers problems....
