  8. Hi guys, Back with a new finished model, this time an old Monogram '24 39 Chevy Panel, the "green version" on the box. When I was a child consulting the 81 Monogram catalog I was dreaming of this kit but couldn't find it here in France. Years later I get it unbuilt but incomplete, missing the hood. I decide to go for a stock version, so there is the 6 inline engine, coming from a 53 Chevy, modified to looks like a 39 model, wheels are from the 41 CHevy pick up, decals from my parts box. Hope you'll like it
  9. Looks nice, you should do some outside pics, it's hard to see the color of the car on your pics
  10. Thanks again for the nice comments, if Round2 reissue that kit, I sure gonna buy it but will not kitbash it this time....
  11. I agree with you, I bought it for the same reason, that's also the onlyu one which have a good accurate "face" with front headlight off the good size, one question maybe, the hood "scoop" looks a bit small comparing with the '24 Monogram version ( not only because of scale.. )
  12. Real nice, did you use the decals of the kit for the red stripes ??
  13. Super nice model and that color really suits this car Good job and nice story
  14. Thanks for the nice comments
  15. Hope you'll like it, I'm glad to have it on my collection and to have finished it...
  16. Hi guys, back on the forum with a new built, it's a 71 Demon GSS, started with a MPC model kit, which I was lucky to find here in France but it was heavily painted and some parts missing. Anyway I decide to restore it by kitbashing an AMT Duster. Lots of work for doing everything fit, I might do another way now, especially with the firewall which would need to be moved a few millimeters. I've add a vinyl top, hood scoop are from the Duster, color is the closest I could find from the Butterscotch yellow. Decals are from Fred Cady. I detailed the grill the best that I can but to me, MPC didn't capture the look of the 1/1, it quite heavy for me. To reproduce the GSS model, I use the 6 pack on the 340... Hope you'll enjoy it SOme more pics to come
  17. I'm just finished kitbashing an original Demon with AMT Duster chassis/engine, and must I say that's a very hard task, lot's of work here and there to make them fit, this to say I don't think Round2 will modify the original kit with the more recent Duster underside, that's way too complicated, and expensive....
  18. I'm very impressed by the result you have with this Lindberg kit, make me want to buy some !!!! I only have the Buick Century, maybe Round 2 will reissue some......
  19. Thnaks for the comments, Yes the Trumpter chassis would fit, personnaly I've used a Revell chassis under my 59, engine starts life as a Revell PArts Pack
