  1. Steve, how have you managed the work on the rear taillight ? Is it BMF or Alclad paint ? This part was a real challenge for me and I'm not that happy about my work on it...
  2. Thank you for all the nice comments
  3. And the last one !!
  4. Hi guys, Back with a new built, an original Johan 60 Plymouth. It's a car I wanted to build for a long time. I've start with a unpaint built kit in nice shape. I think I find the perfect color for it, spray can, very close to the catalog "Twillight blue". Mostly box stock, I've just work on the hubcap because there were to flat for me, so I've separate the middle of 58 Plymouth hupcaps and glued them to the 60 ones If I would have to biuld another one, I think I will take my time to separate the rear taillight to paint them with Alclad as I'm not that happy with the BMF result on that. Speaking of BMF, it was a hard job on that car, lots of chrome !!!! Tires are from AMT. Hope you'll like it
  5. Thanks for the nice comments, good to see it brings so much talk !!! I had some trouble also when doing my research before working on it !!! Looks like I forgot the surrounding chrome from the rear license plate looking at your pics !!!
  6. Thanks for the comments, my son will appriciate !!
  7. Thanks for the nice comments !!!
  8. I forgot to say my son is 14 years old, it is its fourth cars model kit now ....
  9. Hi guys, This is a father son project which I'm very proud of, first because it's very hard now to keep kids interest out of their cell phone, and to get involved in a building model kit activity 'till the end... So We've worked on the Aoshima Mad Max Interceptor. I've modified the kit to look as in the first movie : ceate the front spoiler, rear hood and spoiler and window. My son painted everything and built the kit. We put some material on the rear suspension also to have the good rake !!! Not shown in these pictures my wife has done the diorama with Mel Gibson in scale !!
  10. Some more pics
  11. Hi guys, Back with a new built, this time it's a resto I've done on a very good built kit by a good friend of mine. A Johan 62 Plymouth Fury Htop. I've just polished the paint to a shiny effect, put some BMF around the wheels well, detailed the emblems and decide to change the wheels as the stock hubcaps were kind of flat so I go with Torque thrust. Hope you'll like it !!
  12. Very nice built !!! I'm sure the engine didn't stay that white very long !!!!
  13. Very nice build, have some of these in my stock, one day maybe.....
  14. Very nice !!! Can't go wrong with Torque Thrust !!!
  15. Absolutly gorgeous !!! One of the only missing kit in my Mopar collection !!!
  16. Very nice Torino !!! Cragar are welcome on your build !!!!
  17. Gorgeous build !!!
  18. Gorgeous built as usual Ron, to me there're 2 detail that I notice, the tires look a bit "high" for the car and the headlight would need to more recessed ( Monogram did a good job on their grill concerning 69 Dodge ). Sure that's my 2 cents, I'm very happy to see one of this model finished
  19. Thank you Ron and Carl
  20. Thanks, really 60ies those hubcaps !!!
  21. Thanks for the nice comments. I've always wanted to build something starting with this engine, this convertible Firebird looks like a good idea for me
