  6. the revell kit is most definitely the best truck between the two. I have not built the amt kit but I have built MANY amt kits before and I have always loved the quality and fit of the revell kits. when cutting/stretching, cutting/shortening frames I have always found it best to cut underneat the cab and move everything back or forward under the cab....it's an inconspicuous location and you won't see the cut. best of luck Chad
  7. Dang thanks I actually thought I had one. Now I know I dont thar sucks Thanks Chad

  12. here's an aeromax I'm kinda just throwing together using parts from the box as well....started with just the cab, hood and interior again....using the paystar 5000 frame and dump box. and the reason my life stopped a few weeks ago. had to get this old girl ready for show season....
  13. here's a california hauler I had built some time ago using what was left from 2 kits to build 1, shorted the frame ( because I cut it off to lengthen the other one, used daytons on this one as well. onto my favorite build I received this cab, interior and hood from a buddy of mine, nothing else at all, the sleeper was still on the sprues, used an old italeri frame, added an extra axle I had laying around, I still have some work to do to this one, it's getting a cat 3406, single round fenders, and a headache rack and if I can find one a revell rear taillight bar. here's how she started out. I wanted to see how a quad axle would look before I completed the frame and painted it up.....it seemed a hair long here's the current result
  14. hey guys, I've gotten back into the swing of things a little with the shows for the real truck over so I decided to fill a few days being relaxing and stress free. I got a bunch of parts in a box from a buddy of mine so I decided to play puzzle piece and start putting them back together and doing some parts box builds....they're working out pretty well THUS FAR.... first up is the revell snap kw that I built by chopping down the aero sleeper and grafting in a 36" bunk and going full work with it. the frame is the stock length, single stack dayton spoke rims, t600 aerodyne exhaust filler panel on the drivers side. I think I achieved my goal with this one. second up is the revell kw w900l....the only thing it needed really was some tlc and to be glued back together, it showed up in about 30 pieces. third in line is a snap pete I originally bought to use as parts for another build but decided to build a second truck with what was left.....here's the end result. I built this revell aerodyne about 3 years ago and it was finally time to get it back into shape. I cleaned it all up, added the decals from the snap kw kit, added different tires and a triple coat of clear.
