  11. I got a Dodge Magnum kit today it was clearance priced at $4.99, handed over the magical 40% off coupon and snagged it for $3.22 including tax. I havent got a kit that cheap in over 30 years. what a deal.

  17. Also if you use a simi-gloss clear, you can use any color you like under it. just make sure the paints are compatable by testing them first.
  18. I'm working on a project just like yours. But I'm using the AMT 40' Ford, that I got at a swap meet that had been started. Like Casey said, I plan on using a gloss black base coat followed by a simi-gloss clear. It will look better than a flat black finish. You want it to have a bit of a sheen on it for a suede look.
