That is a shame.
You did a great job with it. At least you have the pix, get another one and build it again.
Maybe some day it will find its way back home.
Welcome Will, and welcome back to the hobby.
you'll find its changed quite a bit sence you last built models.
I want to wish good luck with your 1:1 Dart.
hope you can show some pix of your Dart when its finished.
This looks great! I would never know it was the first top fuel dragster you have done.
Nice engine detail, Paint, and decal application.
I hope it was a fun build, that way you will want to build more.
Very nice, as it sparkles in the sun.
Good work on the tire lettering, did you paint the lettering on free-hand?
And the black trim around the windows also look good.
Its the little details like that, that bring a model to life. Great job.
I think he will enjoy the kit. I also would like to thank him for his service to all of us here in the states. Our brave young men
deserve all the support we can give them in keeping this country free. I wish him a safe deployment, and pray God watches
over him.
I don't think the skill level of a kit is important, unless you are buying the kit for a child that is just starting to build models.
It is the subject that attracts me to a kit. If I like the subject I want it. If its something that I don't care for I leave it for someone else. Skill 1 or skill 3 if I like the Model I build it.
I think the decal looks great against the color of the car, and you did a fine job applying it. I always have trouble with long stripes like that, they always seem to end up crooked in places.
Very impressive work. Thats a lot of engine in a small compartment. VERY COOL!
Hope you get some better weather there soon, I want to see more of your work.
Thanks,
Ron
