  3. I built a Huey helicopter once. it was about 20" long when complete. Did a nice job with it. Well, the day after it was finished I was goofin around on my bed and jumped off the end right on top of my Huey. I was about 13 or 14 years old. I'll be 51 next month and I can still remember the sick feeling in my stomach after doing that. I never leave models on the floor anymore. LOL
  4. Nice to meet you Marcus, First off I want to thank you for your service to America, in a very turbulent time in our history. Much respect for you sir. With your experience in avation, do you build any helo/plane kits? Good to have you on board, Sir.
  5. Hi Ismael, Looks like you guys had a great time at the car show. And having your son with you there no better way to enjoy it. When you get my age, you will remember these times you had with your son as I do, with much happiness. I honestly believe that the time I spent with my son when he was young, has molded him into the upstanding father & husband he is now.

  24. Even the worst spray painted body looks better than the best brush painted body. Use the brushes for small parts and fine detailing. Just don't give up on it. You can do a nice job on it if you take your time and not rush. Smooth out the old paint with some fine grit automotive sandpaper, about 800 grit. and paint again with spray paint. Before spraying the paint, warm up the spray can using water from the kitchen sink, never use open flame. Then spray it on. Use even strokes. give it a try.
  25. Dr. Cranky, You come up with some of the coolest build-ups. Very nice job on this one.
