  1. Hey Dean and Christian, There are a few guys here from the U.K. One of my favorite U.K builders is Andy Jones, his username here is Ajay. Havent seen him here in a while but his personal web site has pics of his fantastic builds. Here is a link to his site: http://www.aj-modelworks.co.uk/ajmodelworks_001.htm He's from Wolverhamton. Cheers, Roll
  2. A "Stanley knife" may be your best bet here, the blade is thicker than a #11 x-acto blade, so no chance of it breaking. Good luck, and let us know how it goes. Just don't cut off a finger. Don't try to cut the sanding stick all at once, score it a few times first, then gradually use more force to cut through. Hope this helps. Rol
  3. Great pics Todd. Thanks for sharing. Lots of inspiration for my style of builds.
  4. Hmmm.....I sense there is a bit of jealousy here. I think you should be given the opportunity to do an article for MCM. You deserve it....
  5. Thanks for the reminder, its almost time for my simi-annual name & avatar change. PM me and I will send a few names for you to choose from. I will also need your credit card number to process your order faster. You are now known as Sheldon McCrackin
  6. Would you prefer to be Hi-jacked or would you prefer to be Lo-jacked
  7. Looks sharp so far Terry. Can't wait to see it with the white top and foiled. Is this the custom version Catilina? I'm looking for ideas for mine, so I will be watching your build. Keep up the great work.
  8. Thanks for the heads-up Jim. I just checked my e-mail and its there, waiting for me to print it out. Looks like a trip to Michaels today. Love to get them 50% off coupons. Have a great 4th of July Jim.
  9. I can't wait for the special treatment this weekend. Its Father's Day Sunday. So to all the DADs, Have a GREAT Fathers day! and if your not a Dad, Show yours some Love. Hummmm, Breakfast in bed, Steaks on the grill, what do I want?
  10. And I'm an agnostic terrorist. Oh, and an a-hole
  11. I'm sorry your honor, I cannot prove I'm not a jackass. Quite frankly I enjoy being called an A-hole as opposed to a jack-a So feel free to oblige me. Just a little light hearted humor at my expence. Just tryin to smooth things out, if ya know what I mean.
  12. Not a lecture Ken, I just want all this name calling and bickering to end. As I'm sure you do as well. I've seen the news broadcasts about teenagers on social networks, Facebook etc. where some kids commited suicide from what was said on that web site, and now the perps. are under investigation. So I would tend to err on the side of caution, rather than risk any possible court appearance. What is so hard about ignoring someone that rubs you the wrong way.
  13. The key word here is "if" "If what was said is true" You better have that proof.
  14. You may be right, but I would hate to find out the hard way. Being ignorant of the crime is no excuse.
  15. I think people need to pay attention to what they are posting here. I don't think being in a "fit of rage" is a good time to post your comment. You can open yourself up a boat load of trouble by writing the wrong thing to the wrong person. This is the internet, if you think everyone posting is telling the truth, I got news for you. Personal integrity & accountability are not a good defence in court against slander or Defamation charges. So I urge you all to think hard and proofread what you are about to post, because you want to spend your money on new kits and not have to pay fines to the person you slandered.
  16. With the Governments crack down on internet bullying, I would be a bit nervous if I were one of the name callers. Slander, Defamation of character are just a few charges for the jury to consider. You may think you are free to say anything you want about anyone on the WEB, but it could come back to haunt you. Maybe the person in question just baited his hook and caught a couple of Whoppers. Should be interesting to see what transpires. Good day, and keep on building.

Looks great. Are the rear tires from the DD kit? Very nice gasser.

  19. Nice work. That engine looks great.
  20. Ah, Common Dave. We just want to know your secrets so's we can steal 'em and open our own chrome plating service. We don't care how much time, money, & effort you've spent, we just want to know how to rip you off. So answer our questions or we will be forced to ignore you, and act like a bunch of babies wanting our babaw. The Charger is Awesome. Keep doin' what cha do.
  21. This is an awesome build. I love all the little added details. Great job Brizio.
  22. Welcome Jessie. A Ford guy huh, well don't worry, we won't hold that against you I like the the chopped Ford, and the Batmobile tires fit it nicely. Next time I see the Batmobile kit I gotta get it cuz I know it has some awesome tires in it. Nice job on the EVO also. Did you wire the engine, or detail paint the wiring? can't really see, the pic is a bit fuzzy. Tanks, I'm not too familiar with, so I'll say they look excelent, Awesome builds. Just wander around the forum and you can find plenty of info for anything you want to learn about the hobby. Enjoy the forum Jess.
  23. Hi Doc. Ya know I have this rash around my...Uh, Oh.. Never mind. Welcome to the forum. There are a few dealers who have older kits for sale, that way you don't have to sign-up for paypal, that paypal stuff just makes it too easy to buy stuff on ebay, which in turn comes back to haunt you when the CC bill arrives and the wife gets it first. (just a scenario, not necessarily a personal experience...yea right ) jiminohio often posts here and if you scroll down the forum index to the Links, Advertisers and Web Sites you will find his post with web addy. Enjoy the forum and see you around. Oh by the way, the rash thing, just a joke, I'm cool.
  24. Cool looking Buick. I like those Cragars too, gives it a classy look.
