  1. See....... I rest my case. Jason, I hope everything works out for you. The accident I was involved in was in the early 80s. Haven't been the one to blame since.
  2. Usually when you "pull out" in front of another vehicle, YOU get saddled with the blame. A very similar situation happened to me, and even though the driver of the other car that hit mine was driving outside his lane of travel, it was my fault. It all comes down to the word YIELD. He said "I was pulling out and got slammed by a Hyndai Sonnata doing about 50+" No venom here, Just an observation, from experance. And if you took the time to read my post you would see I said "I hope not".
  3. By the way you explain it, sounds like it was your fault. I hope not, and maybe I missed something. Having to deal with the insurance co's is not painless either. Good luck with it all.
  4. Looks great in that color. The BM hood gives it a menacing aggressive look. Got any motor pics?
  5. One problem with this kit is, it has no electric fan for the radiator when using the blower option. So ya gotta scratch that itch.
  6. Nice work Doug. I have that one on my bench now. Using carbon fiber decals for the hood too.
  7. Now theres something to spend my Income tax return on. Oh yea, I forgot, I gotta pay income tax, No refund this year. Danged IRS.
  8. That sucks. The worst part of it is, it got your project perty good. The other stuff is really not too bad. Actually, the T.V. looks nice with the speckels. My model area is carpeted with shag, So stuff don't break when it falls off the bench, it just disappears. Good luck with the clean-up.
  9. I think your trying to do to much all at once. I did the same thing when I got back into the hobby. I wanted to do PE parts, Bare metal foil, polished out paint, the whole 9 yards. But soon realized it was just to much all at once, so I backed up a bit and concentrated on the basics first. As my skills progressed I would try a new technique, and so on, until I could understand what works best for me. Anything you want to be good at takes time to master, be it Knitting, Photography, Stamp collecting, and the only way to become better is to learn by study and dedication to the task at hand. As for the insults, you gotta take it with a grain of salt, alot of the guys here are trying to break into show biz as comedians, and Don Rickles they are not. Sorry for your bad experance here.
  10. That Fairlane looks nice.
  11. Good to see your back Mark. And HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!!
  12. Outstanding build Steve. Can't wait to see more of your stuff. Hope that arm heals up fast, so you can get back to work on your models. Welcome to MCM forums. Ron
  13. Nice haul Ed. I gotta go shopping with you. I see a few there I would like. Have fun building them.
  14. I heard it is delayed. But it will be released. From a somewhat reliable source.
  15. Ahh Well, George, My favorite sport is GIRL WATCHIN' so no way I'm gonna miss them grass skirts wigglen.
  16. Thanks for the info guys, I'm gonna stock up this weekend. The 5oz. cans are perfect, and if they change to a larger can it would most likely be a 12oz. and will probably be 3-4 dollars more.
  17. Definitely.... Now, who's gonna bring the Hula dancers? Woohoo!
  18. X2.. We could bug the heck outa Gregg, stay (uninvited) in his yard and party till morning

    Mustang GT500

Very nicely done build. That engine bay looks great, excellent detail. If this is your first posted build, I will be looking for more from you. Great build.
  22. These arrived yesterday. Pacific Northwest Model Car Fest 2010 T-shirt. A Watson original. and Monogram '65 Corvette "Black Rat" kit. The T-shirt is awesome, Thank you Jairus, I'll wear it until there is nothing left but the neck ring and the word "YEAH" Its now my favorite T-shirt.
  23. Very nice custom Chevy. What colors were used on the interior? They really accent the Tamiya orange paint nicely. Love that frontal view with the grill.
  24. I have a beach cruiser that I enjoy riding. I found it in the shrubbery on the side of my house, I think someone had stolen it and stashed it in the bushes to retrieve later, but I got to it first. (HA HA finders keepers) It had mountain bike handle bars, but I picked up beach cruiser bars and changed them out. I ride almost every day when the weather is warm, its great exercise for my jacked-up lower back. I also pick-up aluminum cans on my daily ride, to help pay for my model kits. Now that's a win-win situation.
