  1. Well there goes my guess
  2. Lets see hands that aren't as nimble as they once were, eye sight that is not so good, family, work, life in general. I'm lucky to finish at all these days. Somehow as a kid I managed to crank one out in a week or less, Luckily none of those fine examples of workmanship have survived
  3. It's a badger, I can tell from the pixels
  4. Sometimes the search query needs to be specific and if the person searching doesn't know the proper terminology google can sometimes not work. But I agree with your intent.
  5. Wheels can change an entire build for me. I just started a Revell Bullitt 68 mustang. I wasn't too happy about the kit tires and rims. After looking at some rims I had, I'm taking the car in an entirely different direction and one I probably wouldn't have ever considered.
  6. Very nice, any chance of seeing a side by side comparison.
  7. Dominik, I always enjoy your builds and this one is no exception. So much detail to look at, I could spend a few hours just looking for all the little details. Awesome work
  8. I kinda like this http://vimeo.com/23298236
  9. Ok now I just need to know how to get the car going on green
  10. These are images that come to mind when I think of intense
  11. Beautiful work, you did a perfect job
  12. You need to send those pics to Dodge, better yet become an automotive designer yourself. You are certainly more capable than the monkees that are designing cars these days.
  13. I'll say model, an extremely good one at that
  14. Thanks Mike, I sent them an e-mail. It looks promising
  15. Talk about a fast response, Vacuum metallizing has to go thru an oven to make it shine the best. The chrome shop we use does not by pass the ovens so we would not be able to help you. Styrene would warp from the heat of the ovens. I wish I could do business with this guy just based on his response time. I guess I'll keep looking
  16. Thanks Ed, I found his website. http://www.mrgusa.com/index.html I'll shoot him an e-mail
  17. I tried that option and it doesn't give me the look I'm after, but I appreciate the response.
  18. Aside from Chrome Tech, does anyone else do gold plating ? I called Little Motor Car Company and he doesn't do gold. Looking for recommendations.
  19. I keep trying to find something wrong and I can't. Looks beautiful.
  20. I agree that swearing is not the best way to communicate, however it has become so ingrained in our subconscious that it's become normal. Our society has become desensitized through movies and television. Just because something appears normal, it doesn't make it right. If we weren't bombarded day and night through our so called entertainment industry it would be less acceptable. You see it in music, movies, and television. If it's got gratuitous sex and swearing in it, people love it. I'm 54 years old and have seen a huge decline in our morality as a people. Nothing is shocking anymore and you have to ask yourself Why. Do I swear in real life, yes I do. I can't explain why because certainly I wish I didn't. But certain situations will get me to that point. For this particular forum I see nothing that would ever prompt me to get going. Nothing about this hobby should get a person that worked up. If it does, perhaps a different hobby is in order.
  21. Cool save. Some of those HO bodies were quite appealing
  22. I was expecting a Hello Kitty graphic
  23. Nicely done. I like all the little things like the partially open garage door, old lady, dog, and the tire against the garage to name a few.
