I try to enter 3 contests a year, only because there are only 3 shows with in 2 hours drive, and working rotating shifts of 12 hours makes it even more difficult. But participate in contests oh ya, it is a blast. And like James said as long as I have built something new. I do plan on NNL East next year.
Not worth much, but what cool box art. This kit has been around since at least the 60's, and it is what it is worth to you. I have two of these kits I bought off line cause I remember building it in the 70's. FUN FUN!
Hey Shane, as far as I know no one makes a stock hood or stack grill. The grill is not a big deal, but the hood is tougher I used the Chevelle SS hood and cut the hump out and the used a Monogram Buick GSX Street machine hood without the hole. This worked good for me. Great job by the way.
Hey Nick, saw this model in person Saturday, what a cool looking model, colour is great and looks just right. I just finished a AMT 1964 Impala myself and entered it the same contest, It was the 4 door Biscayne on the table.
Well Peter what can I say that likey hasen't been said, but what the hell. OVER THE TOP! You have done to an OLDS what not many have........Just beautful!
Saturday Oct 26, 2013 there is a really good model show and sale at the Harwood High School, it is north of the 401 on Harwood Ave. This is east of Toronto but not by much. I have been going for many years and is always a good show.
