  6. Hey Guys.... just want you to know I am still alive and kicking....lol I haven't gotten much done on this lately but was hoping to maybe get a little time in this week and get some updates for everyone. I am seriously starting to have with drawls from not getting any bench time....lol if I am lucky I may get to work a little on it tonight but not crossing my fingers.
  7. Bill... this build it out of this world bud!! Sounds like you had a great weekend. Congrats on all of the awards that this build received. seeing what I got to see on here, I can only imagine what it looked like in person. This is one of those builds from the get go I thought would take a lot of awards. Your craftsmanship is up there with the best. I can't wait to see what you have in store for your next build for us. Hope its another 1/16th scale beast!!! . Very Nice work Bill.
  8. Rom... this is sure looking good buddy. Nice work on this so far. Keep at it man. Can't wait to see more.
  9. Clay.... You have me speechless man. The work you do is killer and has to be one of the best here. I look up to guys like you, John Teresi, Dave (Comp1839), Romell, Bart, Joe (Prostreet) there are others that as well that has slipped my mind. Your craftsmanship is just amazing and I am learning a lot from this build. There are a couple of things I am gonna borrow for my funny car build. I really like how you did the front end support for the inner portion of the body. I was planning on doing all of the body bracing for my funny car and wasn't exactly sure how I was going to do it and if i was going to go with plastic or brass since I haven't quite gotten to that point on my build, but after seeing how you did the front end support on this build I am going to go with the brass route on my build. I can not wait to see what you have in store for us next. I love how the firewall and the front end mounts (fire wall ones) turned out as well as what you used for your stitch welds. Everything looks great and is so clean. Also what a great idea using the RB Motion rod ends for hinges. I may have to borrow this idea as well for my pro mod. Thanks again for sharing how you are doing everything. keep up the great work!!
  10. This is coming along and great to see you back on this build. Looking good.

  14. Tyrone.... this build just gets better and better. You are hitting this one out of the park. Keep up the great work.
  15. Kane.... This is going to be a very nice project. That chassis is looking great and I love how you did the carbon fiber on the transmissions tunnel. I love also the little details of putting the Dzus fasteners on it as well. keep up the great work on it. Wheelie bars look great too
  16. This build is looking great. Love the figures you have done for the guys. Keep up the great work
  17. Modelfreak.. Yep I am a Vikings fan. I am originally from California but my Grandpa is from North Dakota close to the Canadian border and not too far from Minnesota. the Vikings were his team and they became mine. Thanks for the kind words on this build. Like you I can't wait to see this painted as well Danno... Thanks buddy Bill... Thank you. Scott.... Dave is just an awesome guy!! I can't say enough good things about him. We are blessed to have a guy like him here, He is so helpful and willing to take the time to answer your questions. Thanks for the props on the car. I am trying to add detail to every thing possible on this build. Tyrone... Thanks bud!! I am trying . this will be my best build to date. Henry... Thanks man! Richard... Thanks man. Kane... Thanks man.... well you didn't see what the bench looked like before I cleaned it... Brett... you are funny!! Thanks for the kind words. Sometimes I feel I am in the burnout box when you all are at the starting line . I can't tell you how bad I want to get some paint on this engine. Well guys no new updates as of yet. I haven't been able to get any time at the bench the past few days. I still have some little details to knock out on this oil pump then it will be ready for primer, then it will be time to move onto the next engine part which i will probably be doing a little clean up work on the block filling some pin holes as well as I need to finish up the clean up work on my oil pan after having moved one of fittings from my original location. Hopefully soon I will have some updates. Thanks for following along everyone!!
  18. Awesome Rims!! Jim does some killer work. we are so lucky to have him doing all of these wobderful parts for all of us.
  19. Terry what ever you can get and what you want to share would be great!
  20. This is a very nice build and it looks great. The detail and everything Looks awesome!!
  21. Dave.... without your help I wouldn't of been able to to do this. just wait because I still have a few little details to make this oil pump complete. Thank you again for being able to tell what type of system it was and which lines went where. And as far as my work area goes... I finally gave a a good cleaning this past weekend, it was a disaster for a while...lol Rick... Thanks man!!
  22. Thanks guys..... got a little more to show you from what I worked on yesterday. I first off have to say thank you to Dave (Comp1839) once again if it wasn't for his help I wouldn't have know what type of oil pump was ran in this car. He answered a few questions for me and here is the results so far. Take note that The oil pump isn't 100% finished in the design, I have a few little details left for it. I started out by shaping some styrene from a reference pic. I measured it and scaled it down: More parts that were cut and made from styrene that will be glued together: Here is the new oil pump (left) and the oil pump that is supplied in the kit (right), Don't mind the hole in the middle of the pump, it is there for mock up purposes so I can bolt it to the block. I will actually be changing how it is mounted since I need to drill holes for smaller bolts to detail the pump out: Here it is with RB Motion fittings added to see how it will look, Fittings still need to be painted: Here it is mocked up on the block and mounted with my bolt for mock up purposes. I even cut off some small Pro Tech braided line and put in the fittings to get a feel of the look: And for a teaser here is my Hobby room's workbench area:
  23. I am with george....I don't leave feedback until i receive the item. I also pay for my items right away.
  24. Doh!.. my bad.... Well I can say is Jim is willing to make custom parts I have drawn up many parts on my CAD program that I have had him make for me. I am sure he could make dually rims if given the dimensions for them
  25. Take a look at Micro Nitro... http://www.micronitro.net/ He has them and he offers them machined in Aluminum in 1/25th and 1/16th scale they are very nice looking. I am not sure on the price of them so you will need to send him a PM to find out what they cost. Here they are: 1 piece sets 2 piece sets Wheel Hats
