  1. The Heck with a sleeper, I see another custom largecar!!
  2. Not a pain in the neck at all for an organized person such as myself, and there are some of us who don't have the means to pay for something that you can use free.
  3. If you are having problems with exceeding the bandwidth limit, just do what I did, open up another account! I have two free accounts, under different emails, and if I start getting close on bandwidth, I use the other account.
  4. I thought it was 579, but wasn't sure, that's why since the other 86 and 87's are aeros, I thought it was the 587.
  5. Yeah, but I'd figure there should still be some type of build plans somewhere since further down it said Hendrickson Mfg was contracted to build 10 of these trucks.
  6. Here: http://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/imc/imc-big-rig-dodge-l/ This one may be easier on the eyes since it is not from the original IMC release. http://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/linberg/lindberg-dodge-l-70/
  7. OR NOT!!!
  8. Well, after a little Goggle searching, I managed to find this screenshot. While it's not that clear, any T/A enthusiast (and yes, I fit in that category, I've even owned 2) can tell you that the lettering is the "6.6 Litre" lettering on the shaker. Of course, as any TV or movie vehicle, getting one 100% correct is impossible unless you are building a specific "hero" car used for promotional reasons or from a certain scene, because we all know they use more than one car. Even in this case, this scene has the "6.6 Litre" Shaker markings, but from the quick view I seen as the car was being unloaded, it almost appeared as if it may have had the "T/A 6.6" markings.
  9. If I do remember correctly without pulling out the DVD, Trigger DID have the 6.6 Litre decals on the shaker. As for the lack of proper Trans Am scripts and CB radio and antenna, older editions of R/M's "Warbird" T/A (up until the early 2000s issue with the red car on the box) and the MPC Blackbird all have proper T/A scripts, and also have an appropriate CB and antenna. After all, Bandit needs a place to hang his hat!!
  10. I forget what issue it was in (help me out Tim), but Tim had an article in the magazine where he showed using Renshape to make the front of his Pete 587. I did get the right model number, didn't I Tim??
  11. Thanks, I thought it was a Texaco before it was Joe's.
  12. While I don't have any blueprints on it, I do have some info on it. I seen this one at the 2012 Walcott Truckers Jamboree last year, and took a few pics of the story of the truck that was in the window. Also, it is on display at the Iowa 80 Trucking Museum next to the Iowa 80 truckstop in Walcott.
  13. This kit is very close to design "A". In one of it's releases, I do believe it even had Texaco markings.
  14. What was wrong with the forum?? I didn't notice it was not here for a couple weeks like you said!
  15. Is that a body shell for an R/C??
  16. I've had it happen to, so I have nothing to get in check. One of the times destroyed my computer, and you don't see me whining and crying. I had my computer rebuilt and moved on with life.
  17. Unless you mean the KW, no it won't Tim. Did you miss he scrapped it?? Too bad I didn't see it before, I would have been more than happy to tackle the project.
  18. Bye, see ya! Don't you realize, even if you throw out your computer, your whole life is still online?? Your bank has your info online, if you work, your payroll info is online, everything is online. I think it's time for you to get out of the dark ages and understand that and stop whining you got hacked, and stop sending nasty PM's to people who clearly don't care.
  19. Yeah, I'm finding that out.
  20. Me+no nicotine=me you don't want to be around!!!
  21. Yep, that is our very own Tim Ahlborn's (mackinac359) site, and he is also the moderator here in the truck section of the forum. He also does the "Trucker's Corner" article in the magazine.
  22. I have to say, while the style of the car doesn't appeal to me, being untouched all those years do make it a nice representation of how things were done in the past,
  23. How did you build the arch into it? Even though they won't be 1/16 scale, I have quite a few big wrecker ideas floating around in the brain.
  24. Thanks Wayne. You aren't kidding about the roads these days, even riding around in a four wheeler, there are some bumps that jar my back. I have been going out with my "brother" the past few days in his Intertrashanal pulling a skateboard since he has been mostly running local picking up and delivering pipe for the gas pipelines they are doing for all the natural gas drilling they are doing around here, and did that Friday, Monday, and yesterday, and today it has caught up to me again. I haven't been doing to bad as a seatcover in his rig, and have been even helping him strap down the loads trying to get some strength back in my back and it has been helping, but today I'm back in pain. The riding and loading has been helping, because I'm not feeling as bad as before, but I still don't feel like doing anything today but sitting here in the easy chair on the laptop and watching TV.
