I painted my interior tub flat black, then i brushed the console, rear seat and door panels with future. I thought this gave a realistic look. Not as glossy as gloss paint and a good look for the interior.
I painted my body today. I primed it with some flat enamel I had laying around then followed with a acrylic laquer top coat. The paint got wrinkled in some spots, but ok in others. Did i use the wrong primer? I will try to post pics. Looks like I'll have to strip this one.
I just picked some of this stuff up. It says duplicolor auto touch up acrylic laquer. I tried it on a couple of spare body parts and it won't lay down smooth. My question is
1. Has anyone used this stuff
2. Will a clear coat make it appear smooth or do I need to polish the base coat first.
Thanks.
