  1. great looking engine. the carbs are really realistic.
  2. Super clean build man! If you are into Snake and Mongoose, check out the book titled "snake vs mongoose". i just got it for christmas and it is awesome!
  3. Looks great!! unreal how you can take some plastic tubing and make that. A small request, can you post some pics of that early nova in the background. that looks really awesome
  4. man i feel like an idiot!
  5. Super clean build! The color looks right, as does the stance. Nice job.
  6. This build is looking good! As far as the wrinkles go a slick with lower air pressure can have wrinkles while stationary. If the car has a spool, and the car is in mid turn, one side will even wrinkle backwards! Caine, whats the difference between Mopar Missile and Motown Missile? Were they owned by the same guy?
  7. Smooooooth orange paint! Nice job!
  8. Novadose71's Motion nova is my Fav. haha. i love that model. Mr Obsessive, your Hemi one is fantastic too! what really stands out is the wire looms.
  9. I get a kick out of the story line, and im sure the build will be as nice as your others. You said you dindt want to fix the kits manifold. Whats wrong with it?
  10. I don't get AMT has 3 humps in the oil pan. The revell trans is more detailed. It's been awhile since I've built the revell one. I'll be watching this build. Your doing a great job.
  11. Smooooooth paint! Nice General

    66 GTO

This thing is BAAAAAADDDD. I love the wheels too. Nice job.
  13. Nice job. The boss lettering looks good, you had talked in an earlier post about changing it, but im glad you dindt. I dont think the "hemi thunder" decals that come with the kit look right on a 60s style race car, but your lettering does!
  14. Its a sox and martin duster my dad built back in the day. Appears to be a 73 or 74, as it has the one piece tail lights. Not much detail on the kit. The rear tires appear to small, and the wheels are slots. It has a nice rake to it though. and one wierd thing, the Valve covers have 5 holes in them? i want try to redo this kit. CAn any one identify the brand of kit by my description? i will post pics if i get a chance.
  15. A lot of guys with altereds will put the numbers on the wing(if you plan on putting one on) or as Whale said on the side of the scoop. Ive also seen little brackets on the back of the roll cage for numbers or a dial in board. This thing is really looking great! i like the decals, very clean and accurate!
  16. Did you lower the rear suspension too? I like the way this car sits!
  17. Way cool! i like how you added the door lock knob on the door. I also like the rake and the valve covers.
  18. Wayyyyy cool! i love the tires in the back. Nice build!
  19. Sorry reeves. I thought you were responding to me " nit picking". I take it back and i am sorry. i will delete my previous post because i am an idiot and so i dont ruin Bretts thread. (inserts foot in mouth) Brett , If you are interested in Baldwin Motion cars, there is an excellent book called "motion- tales of a super car builder." I just picked it up at my local Barnes and Noble and I'm sure you can find online. Tons of pics and great stories right from the horses mouth! http://www.amazon.com/Motion-Performance-Tales-Muscle-Builder/dp/0760335389
  20. way cool! i like the wheels in the first pic
  21. That grill really makes it! combine that with the tail lights you got, and you really improved this model.
  22. Looks good! Baldwin Motion cars were THE baddest of the bad. you have your fuel pump mounted upside down though.
  23. By the way, how did you do the SS emblems on the grill and rear?
  24. Really cool! It just looks right. Hell of a job
  25. I dont know what to do. i thought i had the hood at least looking good. so i messed around with the polish kit. the surface got a smoooooth finish, but it doesnt look nice. its almost like im looking through clear and the paint is textured underneath, but i didnt clear coat it. I dont know what to do with this paint. the color is light teal metallic auto touch up paint. its acrylic laquer. thanks.
