  1. I am not an electrician. Thanks to the people pointing out the dangers of using unsealed motors and flammable paints. i would not have thought twice about it before.
  2. Has anyone ever tried hooking a vacuum cleaner to the back of a spray booth? if you put a furnace filter in, and put a vacuum cleaner on it, then maybe got some more hose and vented the exhaust of a shopvac out the door, thatsounds like it would work. Are vacuum motors sealed?
  3. Looking good. What clear did you use on the body, and is it spray can or airbrush?
  4. Nice job. The vinyl top looks great!
  5. I also thought the Monte Carlos all had 509 inch Big Blocks in them.
  6. Didn't the Dad on the Brady Bunch drive a ragtop grand coupe Cuda?
  7. They are old pics of the original cars.
  8. cooooooool!!! i have never seen a model of this car.
  9. Check out the Feb 11 issue of Hemmings Muscle. pages 42 and 43. They are definately hemi cars, and definately running SS/E. You can see the hemi badge on Landys dart, plus it has HEMI painted on the hood. It must be a weight thing. Or maybe they werent running SS/B at that event?
  10. I was checking out a recent Hemmings Motor Muscle, and i saw pics of the Sox & Martin Cuda, and Dandy Dick's 68 dart, and they both were in SS/E? I thought these cars were strictly SS/B at the time? Any one know why?
  11. Both of your 64s are cool! I would flat tow the gasser to the track with this truck.
  12. Thats all the detail your going to add? This thing looks wicked! I really like the pullies and the drive belt. it looks very realistic.
  13. Nice job! That paint job is very cool and would work on the impala as a low rider as well as a 60s era drag car.
  14. Check out this link. http://www.edquay.com/spoilers/gallery/index.html A bunch of modern looking spoilers that would look good on your Chevelle
  15. An accurate 70 chevelle kit. Re issue all 80s pro stock kits!
  16. I was going to ask you about the tire lettering. Very realistic model!
  17. i found some flat black rust oleum rust reformer. does anyone know if that will mess up plastic?
  18. Be sure to beef up the clutch packs and add a corvette servo to that 700r. its gonna need it! this build is looking nasty.
  19. Yes! you could get a L-89 aluminum headed 396 in the Sedan model. Awesome. You are doing a great job on this. very nice conversion to a sedan. keep it up!
  20. Be careful with microsol.?I just ruined my decals on my Larry Morgan prostock olds with micro sol. It turned them inta a wrinkled mess. They are 18 years old.
  21. What about butternut with black yenko stripes?
  22. Awesome build of one of the best looking prostock cars of all-time! I wish they would re issue those camaro kits. How did you do the tire letters?
  23. I might be in the minority here, but i think it looks super nasty in primer!
  24. The fronts could be American racing torque thrusts, and the rears are the 200-s as others have said. 200s were used on the TwoLane 55! The Badman 55 chevy gasser kit has the 200-s wheels for the rear. Maybe you could even use some of those parts to make your gasser if you can find one of those kits.
