  4. Awesome look to this one! Nice work!
  5. Nice video Andy! It really helps as I've been looking for some info on doing this. I'm ready to use it for the first time.
  6. Nice looking model! It looks like an everyday driver right out of Main Street, USA 1944. I like the road grime. Very convincing.
  7. And I'm even different yet. I usually do 80% of the bodywork right out of the gate. I leave the car in the primer stage throughout about half of the build (when I'm still mocking things up and modifying stuff). Once I have the configuration I want (frame, wheels/tires, engine, etc), I'll then finish the body work and paint the car. Once the paint is done, I'll then go back and finish off all of the rest. Whatever works best for you is the way to go. Everyone is going to have different methods and ways of going about building their models. You just need to pick the method that works best for you.
  8. Honestly...do you think they would notice?
  9. This is nice!
  10. This one has been on and off of my bench for the last 10 years. I'll be watching.

  13. I'll be watching!
  14. So I've got a couple of pieces that I'm biting the bullet on and I've started the process. I laid down the black tonight. Would tomorrow night be too late to lay down the Alclad? Is that too much curing time? I'm using a Paasche VL airbrush and a Paasche compressor. I don't have a regulator so how do I know what my pressure is at the tip? What's the best way to keep it under control without a regulator?
  15. Holy ######-ola!! Nice job on the flames. What a beauty!!
  16. Some really nice lookin' stuff there. It looks like a successful year!!
  17. Dangit!! All of these tempting CBP's......you guys are killing me!!
  18. I know somebody in North Pole, Alaska.
  19. That's just a fantastic looking model. There's no doubt. Probably the coolest/nicest Cobra I've seen.
