  1. Cool. I'll be watching.
  2. Please excuse me while I pick my jaw back up off of my desk. That thing is AWESOME!!
  3. How about some more shots of the '50? That thing is gorgeous!!!
  4. I haven't done anything to the hood yet.
  5. I don't know anything about that. This kit is the 1987 release so I hope so......
  6. That's super bad!! I love it!!
  7. Holy moly! That's nice!!!
  8. So you just cut from the front of the bed? The reason I ask is I've had several of these in 1:1 and I know that the shortbeds have length taken out both in front of the wheel and also behind it. I have this same kit and I'm planning on shortening the bed. I couldn't see where you made your cuts and it was throwing me off.
  9. That is super clean! I really dig that you kept with the '70's/'80's vibe and built it true to it's roots. I love it!!
  10. It's an old Revell kit. And keep that address handy. Depending on how this Corvette transplant goes......it could be yours!
  11. I'm not trying to be "one of those guys" here but that's a '70, not a '69. Nice job though. I love that your daughter put it together and that she's proud of it. My kids were working on their models this weekend also.
  12. Thanks guys. I'm just so tickled that it's finally moving forward again. Thanks for this thread!! I wont post the spoiler photo that I took with the roof on..... .....
  13. How did you go about shortening the bed on the '72 Fleetside? It looks flawless in raw form, without any primer or paint.....
  14. This is one of your first?
  15. .....and I can't believe that this was posted back in February and no one bothered to comment on it. That's a great looking model in a great color!! Nice job!
  16. Here you can see what I've got going on with the Corvette 'gear. I had to stretch the frame out to match the Delivery's wheel base. This is where I left off. I was kinda roughing stuff in. I took these pics as the stuff came out of the box. I also opened up the back door before I put 'er away last time...
  17. So here is another one of my builds that I started way back when and I decided to blow the dust off of it today and get it back on the bench while I'm stalled on a couple of my other projects (waiting for the mail to come). I'm putting '97 Corvette running gear and frame/suspension under it. Here's a mock-up shot showing the rolling stock I've chosen for it and the target ride-height.
  18. That's HOT!!!! I love this thing!
  19. Wow!!!!

    Ford T 25

That's a sweet little bucket. Nice job!
  21. It seems like no one ever mentions the "Gasser Wars" DVD.....why? That's also hugely inspirational.
  22. I'm (relunctantly) heading to R/C Country tomorrow to pick up some paints. I guess I'll give it a shot.
