  5. I don't know how it is that I'm just now seeing this for the first time. That thing is awesome Bill! I love it!!!
  6. Yeah, why not try your hand at it first? It's not like you're trying it on a real Corvette.
  7. I'd say you're a fantastic artist! Those are great!!!
  8. Personally, I like ebay. There's a certain kit that I've been waiting and watching for at the model car show swap meets I've attended for over two years now. I finally got tired of waiting and decided I was going to grab one off of ebay. I won an auction within an hour and a half and the kit showed up three days later. It's not all bad.
  9. That paint job is nice!!
  10. Is there anything "weird" when it comes to the imagination and what's possible when building models?
  11. This thread is almost two years old.........
  12. AWESOME looking car but........it's a '37. Amazing build no matter what year it is though.
  13. This is insane! Very informative. Thank you!!
  14. It takes a little while to get comfortable with but it's definitely one of those things you'll question how you ever made it without it once you're up and going. It makes or breaks a model.
  15. I'd like to see how you did that.
  16. I'm lucky if I finish one a year. I'm a perfectionist and at times, it's almost like a disease or a curse. There are many times when I miss the simplicity of what it was like to build models when I was a kid. Sure, I wanted it to look good and I wanted to sharpen my skills so I could build like the guys in the magazines and the model car shows but, it was sure fun to build a model from start to finish in a day or two. And although, it might be theraputic to slap one together in a weekend, I wouldn't allow it on my shelf. It would probably end up in the trash or the parts box.
  17. I just can't even wrap my mind............I don't even know what to say. AMAZING!!
  18. Don't feel bad. I can't either!
  19. That's amazing! You're very talented!!
  20. Some of your guys' setups are crazy! I would do anything to have an area like that!! I just got a nice desk for the first time but it's hardly picture worthy.
  21. White-lettered tires are a must-have for muscle cars as far as I'm concerned.
  22. That turned out great!!!
  23. Wow Bill, that's a good lookin' example there!!
