  1. Nice work on the glovebox! I'd drive this thing around for sure!
  2. I've never heard of the clear to prevent bleeding trick. Does that work? If it does, that's a great idea. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow. I wanna see the masking come off!!
  3. Thanks guys!!
  4. Sweet truck!!! I love these custom Ford trucks.
  5. This is what is so neat about this place. The best resource for building model cars is hangin' around here.
  6. You have noooo idea!!
  7. I'm waiting for your elves! Thank you!
  8. Thanks Jeff!
  9. Beautiful build. Cleanly done and a great color combination! I normally don't throw in any suggestions on someone's finished car 'cause I don't wanna make anyone mad but I hate to see such a clean build and have anything take away from that.....I've got two suggestions and they're easy fixes. 1. The rear of your front bumper is turned down. It should be leveled out a bit. 2. You forgot your door handles. I wondered if you were going for a shaved look but I doubt it since the rest of the car looks so stock. I hope you don't take offense to me saying that. I think the car looks fantastic either way!
  10. Boy oh boy...I'm REALLY liking this one!!
  11. Holy smokes!! You move fast! Can I borrow a coupla your elves to help me out on my Chevelle??
  12. Nice work! Looks like you're almost there!!
  13. I sprayed Krylon Satin Black to the photoetch grille and then removed the paint from the center bar. The bowtie was painted with Testors blue and was attached with Elmer's White glue. I also painted the headlight bezels to add some contrast. I still have quite a bit of work here but......Lemme know whatcha think!
  14. Got a chance to work over the grille a little. You can see the kit supplied grille/front bumper in comparison to the Modelhaus version. Not a whole lot different but the Modelhaus is clearly the better piece. It doesn't have any mold lines, the chrome is of much better quality, the front bumper is opened up in the turn signal area and the general fit is a little better.
  15. I kinda was. I was born way too late but thanks to dad, I was raised in the 50's in alot of ways!
  16. Gorgeous is right!! VERY nice build. I love it. Puts Cadzilla to shame!
  17. Oh yeah! Go! Go! Go! Go!
  18. That '56 is one of the more difficult ones to do too. Nice work!!
  19. Always a treat to see your builds. Keep 'em coming!

  21. Not boring at all! This is how we all learn. ps....it's panhard
  22. Thank you so much guys! It really means alot! Yes, as soon as I got it finished, I called my uncle and coached him over the phone how to get online and look at the pictures. As soon as he got locked onto it he went quiet for a second and then said....."Holy ####, that's the same car?" He really thought it was cool. Especially when he read what I had written about it. He didn't realize the impact he had on me or even how much I enjoyed spending time with him building model cars when I was younger. It was a really cool moment.
  23. The room has been reserved. I will be there!
