Hey Lyle, sorry to keep bringing this up......how do you paint it? Do you spray it? What kind of spray paints? Anything in particular? Anything you wouldn't use? Sorry again, I'll leave ya alone after this!
Lyle, I sent you a pm 'cause I didn't know if you wanted to give a tutorial on your build thread. But, I'm curious how the embossing powder works. I've never used it. I love how it looks though.
Another homerun Lyle! This one's a real beauty! I love that shade of blue and the interior is amazing. What did you do for carpet? It doesn't look like flocking...it looks better!
I've said it before but I'm a huge fan of your work. It seems like every one of your builds grabs me! This one is no different. BRAVO!
Those are some nice hits for being the first time up to bat!! There's a lot of potential there!!
My wife finally sat down and tried her hand on one too. It was AMT's '57 Corvette Gasser. It was going pretty well and she was doing awesome and then the flip-up front clip wouldn't match up with the body. Even though I spent some time getting it fixed....she sadly lost interest and now it just sits.
Good to see your girl crank out two of them no less!!
Oooo......I like it! I dig the shade of brown and the canted headlights. Don't worry about the angle, it's nice to see a variant every now and then. Besides, they look good. Very nice.
I've also used regular ol' Elmer's White glue with pretty good results. Takes a while to set up but that can also be a good thing as it gives you time to get everything positioned. Clean-up is a breeze too! Welcome back to the hobby!!
