Okwill toy with idea then next week end planing a trip out of town for weekend and going to visit a couple places that sell models will see what I can find for my secret build project. If I get camera will take pics of all but body of it and post them then in end I will unvail my body. Now I have to do some more research on my plans oh so many ideas for it how many will I be able to fit into build. Current builds a 1953 wrecker, and a stalled 1958 Plymouth currently a 6 wheeler with only 4 rear tires touching the ground front ones in air have to lower front axle

I have a question does it have to start as a model or can we use other things? I have a cool idea for something I found today and if it is ok I will try to turn it into a vehicle for the build.

Looks great I like how this one looks Falcon's are nice cars almost had a 1:1 1966 that was for sale cheap then my dad took me to look at it and it was not what they said it was trash no motor or axles and they wanted $1000 if had money would have got it and redid it my way need to buy a falcon kit have a parts pack blown 427 Ford looking for a home that would make nice custom pro street build.

Sounds like o great start to a custom ride I started a custom 1955 Chevy Pickup about 2 yaers ago and never finished used parts box dash, console, seats did some work on body added 1953 ford custom fenders it is ok still needs to be finished and some wheels just never got into it real good then moved

They are killer got anymore pics like those? Today I started work on my 1953c Ford idea so far decided to use 1955 chevy frame, rear axle front axle(for now) depends on wheels and tires have to decide what to do about no interior tub might try to use the Chevy one. Really want to get pics of this one as it is "KILLER" the look of the body. Hope to get a digital camera soon got a little spending money and after leaving some of my models behind when I moved 2 years ago I want to at least have photos in case it happens again when I move so I can rebuild them
-
Sounds like a lot of trouble to get it to fit I have had that problem parts get in the way and then it will not go together take parts off and then they will not go back on or the part is hard to get back on will be watching to see it finished

jedimastergary replied to RodneyBad's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Sonds like it will be a cool truck when done I know how hard it is to fit a semi motor into a pickup have had one for years that was given to me and can not fit it into anything I have got plan to build a pickup later and make front fit engine. It is coming along great will be watching to see how it looks when done never thought of walmart for tires now have to go look at some for couple projects I want to do. -
Dang those are cool nice to bad I do not have anything to make one of those My buggy is almost done thought it was then found I left some parts off like gas cans,AxeShovel and I still want to make a hood so i can add a skull decal. Plymouth is on hold while I figure out few problems it has. Been scrounging up parts for my 1953 ford pickup/truck got cool idea and today was good day found some scrap model tree parts I wanted for build not sure what kind of motor it will get working on 2 frames so I can pick best one for it a stock frame and a 1955 Chevy pick up frame think chevy will be the one as it makes it sit higher. Hope it works out as planned plan is cool

Looking good like the decals and how itis coming together having this same kit I know how hard it had to be to buildyou had to find everything to put it together with that is why mine is still in waiting to be built not sure how to do frame with no money to buy one been trying old model plastic to make tube frame but nothing usable yet one more try before it goes back in box for bit. -
Sounds like a great build looks like it will be a nice one when done I am working on 2 1959 Impala's one hard top one convertible the hard top is going to be a lowrider and the convertible is going to be a custom like a picture I saw might make few changes to style not sure.
