  1. I'll be quite honest. I can tell there is something wrong but a clearer pic and some description would be helpful in my case. Idk about anyone else. Do you have a camera and something like a photobucket account? If not at least a camera and post them like you did?
  2. Got 100 LEDs in today and found a book lamp at the dollar tree that will work for my build. Has a built in resistor.
  3. That is great lol, thanks for posting.
  4. Is it possible to solder this aluminum tubing?
  5. While I am waiting on my batteries, battery holders, and L.E.D.s Ive been working on the suspension and placement of the lights. I have also been working on the Exhaust with aluminum tubing. This is my first time working with tubing. This is the top side where the L.E.D.s will be placed. I drilled out the wrong hole but its easily fixed, because its where the exhaust cross brace will be. This is the correct place for the L.E.D.s. It was an existing hole from the factory exhaust.
  6. Do you have a picture of them? Before I say yes I would like to see before I stick my foot in my mouth lol.
  7. Just a quick build just so I would have something to show while in progress of other builds. Here is a shot of Each side and Interior. There are a lot of flaws but overall I am satisfied. I also lowered it just a tad bit. If your looking for a good quick build. This would be it. Thanks for Looking
  8. And then here is the engine block.
  9. Thanks but I'm going to leave it black. I need to concentrate on the major stuff on this project. Got the engine painted and in the chassis. I still have to wire it and get the covers on. Very little modifications to make this fit. Here is the transmission by itself and looks like its been worked on
  10. No new update yet. I may have one on the chassis this afternoon. Anyone know what the chassis are like on the magnums? If not I'm going to leave it satin black.
  11. Strangely enough I like it. Definitely keep going.
  12. Hooking them up is the easy part, first you have to find the negative side which should be the short side. If it doesn't come on just flip the led around. Make sure you have a resistor coming from the battery or on each led. So a simple diagram would be like Led positive side to the "on" side of the switch positive pole on the battery to the "off" side of the switch The led negative to the negative pole on the battery. You don't have to use very much juice to run these things at all. I'm going to be using a few LEDs on four 1.5 volt cell battery's. Or total of 6 volts. If this doesn't help I can make a picture diagram to help.
  13. Shucky makes turbos. They are great, if he still sells them. I have one huge turbo and I may buy another for this build.
  14. Yep, the magnum came without an engine so I definitely needed one either way. So why not go for a viper. I did have a crazy notion of making it a twin turbo.
  15. No work at all. Right now. The first pic has the block and transmission with the interior pan. I would put an updated Xbox or Ps3 if they had one.
  16. The viper engine fits like a glove Started on the center console O yea almost forgot. This car will light up to. With fiber optics and L.E.D.S. Thanks for looking.
  17. First of all I want to thank those who have traded with me to get it this far. VWDave for the magnum kit and Assa9 for the viper engine. I will be buying some other stuff for it like four racing seats and other decals. I've got a couple other projects on the burners.. But this one I'm getting ready for shows. I bought the jimmy flinstone body at the last show for 5 bucks. So far I have almost everything I need for this build. I'm going to do my best to finish this build lol because every time I post on the workbench I never finish. So here goes. It will have three screens with two 12" inverted subs, powered by two kicker amps, and a Ps2. The subs, amps and ps2 are from scale dreams. Here are the wheels. This is the custom wheel from the magnum kit. I have cut part of it out to open it up. Here is the before and after. The Ps2 is going in the side panel when the back is opened.
  18. The glass will fit smooth. Just a heads up. Looking great so far keep up the good work.
  19. I'm glad to see someone to keep fighting to pull through. Seems most people just want to give up. I'm like others no words can really do justice in a case like this. But again I am glad to see you pulling through and doing better. I hope that I can do the same if I have to go through something similar. Only God will be able to help.
  20. Does it come in multiple colors? The only fiber optic that I've seen put in the ground or in buildings was clear. Michael I will have to let you know later. I'm still indecisive about the color cause I may go with green since its an easier color to find in LEDs.
  21. Yea that's the guy, he doesn't have the color I want right now. Which I may go ahead and buy the others. I want to stay as clean as possible in doing this so I want to stay away from tinting.
  22. Do any of you know where I can find reasonable fiber optic? I have found a seller on eBay with 175 feet of it but they are out of purple. Which that could change by the time I get to the paint job. I prefer a wide color spectrum so it will make my choice a little easier when it comes down to putting these lights in.
  23. Hm, well I may try it then. I'm wanting to detail this thing out and hoped to open both the front and back door but if it's not that strong I will dismiss that.
