Ok here goes, as it is right now this cheap camera does not take very good close up pictures of my cars. What my question is... What would make a paint look like the car flipped over and went 100mph on its top? I am using Testors gold metallic as an underlay for a candy. I just sanded it and wiped it down and used paper(thats right plain paper) to catch the small stuff left behind. The rest of the car came out right on.

It takes as soon as I touch it, It would be worse if I took off the hand stabilizer. I cleaned the lense so idk what the deal is.

I looked at this one, I dont see $500 dollars in it. @lobbs You should be able to buy metal from a sheet metal supply as in HVAC pretty cheap at 26 gauge is all you need as far as metal. You might even check at some Heating and air places to see how much they would charge for one. Most shops down here do walk in work like this. I definitly will be building one now that Pace displayed the measurements Do you have the tools or need a list of what you may need?

There is a towing company near here called "get tow'd" change the last word "Get Toad" with a frog holding the sign...the owner was so jumpy and skittish they named him frog. Somethin dumb but different

Very well, Ill do that next time I take pictures at night. Seriously ill take more pictures i took those right after it finally went together. And Its raining again, we have few good days it seems. So other than that what do you think about the car? This is my first one to paint in about 2 years. The hood is a little darker but otherwise ok.

Im not too sure on doing that just my opinion it would be like shooting a metallic styrene. All candies ive seen were over silver gold or copper. Silve may be your best if your getting close to white.

Testors Fiery Orange to be exact...im not that good yet and yes the camera was acting funny it needs cleaned and I need a tripod.

Not sure if you have this idea or not but the intake looks like the one from a speed boat that a friend of mine had. It has a 454 ....not that you should put that in the bug.

I think I got one from download.cnet or something, Its calling Paint.net a little easier to use than gimp. And its still free.

Just wanted to add something, Not on the cutting part but the chrome foil. What Ive seen at hobby lobby is similiar to what I use in HVAC a little thinner than what I use. A sheet metal supply place will have a roll of "Silver tape" and the thinnest I have seen is Nashua "extreme weather" and instead of paying 4 or 5 bucks for a little you get nearly a lifetime supply for the members here(no kidding) for about 15 if not cheaper(i can get it for 7.50. Just a side note if anyone is to get this...Do Not Stick it to your lips or any other part of your epidermis. My father put some of the stronger stuff on his lip and it pulled skin.

I think its in US currency but I just found a wheel site hiroboy.com most things I found by google 1:24 scale rims. I only found this site after extinsive searching.

@ Jantrix- Very well said. Im a few years off from being 15...and most of us only wish we were 15...remember how much we knew back then(no insult intended). Im not that grewat of a builder and I have not checked out his art(yet). @ dukefan...Dont know ya bro but just some friendly advice beins this is a forum its easier to get away with something the worse is getting baned. Out there as im well sure you handle things a little different someone may not take it the way you intend and start a fight or worse. Best advice given to me is Speak when spoken too(unless you have a question) Dont bite the hand that feeds you in other words "when you bite the person for giving too much info at once, they will stop helping you as well as others, then your left alone to build.

My wife...understands i think but we do agree if either one of us spends 10 to whatever amount(providing we have enough for both)the other spends the same(e.g. I spend ten she gets to spend ten). As far as the forgivness/permission...smart married men ask for permission. Shes female entice her with shoes or a purse . No not really usually if you ask and you both know you have the money to do so they usually say yes...if not let selective hearing kick in.

I have looked as in googled everything i could think about to find these pictures. No such luck, does anyone have any under hood detailed pictures for the 2005+ mustang? I would like to know where the wiring goes and what else I need...I also lost a cross brace(that goes on top of he engine .

CAI is great...but unless your going all out you can usually buy one for about a bill...I got one from mrbodykit. You can go to most sheet metal shops and they can buid a plenium to seperate your intake from the heat. Then get a good insulater to inside. If you want the plenium to be painted you wipe it down with vinager, prime, nd paint. This info is if you dont care about warrenty As far as exhaust H-Pipe(some say horsepower) X-Pipe(Noise) Straight(HP) Might as well get long tube headers, High performance cats(away with factory) Choices of mufflers Flowmaster(Raspy), Magnaflow(quiet) Borla(sounds excellent) Bassani(Excellent). 2.5 inch to 3 inch pipe will work excellent. For best results go out the back. Do not dump!!!
