  1. Here's the other one.
  2. Here's a couple more builds also.
  3. Ma's Resins offer drag radials that may work for your project. Try: www.masresins.com. I hope this helps.
  4. Looks like you're havin' fun with paint and that's great!
  5. I'm likin' the black paint and wheels on that Riv and I would do the interior in white with a black package tray, dash, & carpeting. However I'm sure the Riv will look good no matter what colors you choose for the interior.
  6. Great turorial Bill by a "master builder" and I'll have to give this a try someday. Thanks.
  7. I saw that mag last Friday while grocery shopping and of course I did buy it.
  8. Great lookin' funny cars John. In fact all the cars posted on this thread look great as I really enjoy nostalgic racers from the 50's, 60's, and into the early 70's also.
  9. Bruce, I use Testors lacquer almost exclusively and after the clear has gassed out I use an LMG Polishing Kit and wet sand the clear with 4000, 6000, 8000, and 12000 grits and get a really nice shine. You can then use whatever polish you like. I use Slick & Smooth from Mike's Scale Speed Shop. I hope this helps.
  10. I'm hoping to see Norm again at this years NNL in Toledo, and of course I'll buy a few things from him whether I need them or not. Seems like I have an awful lot of aftermarket parts that I bought for future use and that I need to get off my butt and build more.
  11. I've done this several times with spray cans and got good results. You just spray some clear on the tape edge, and when that dries you spray your second color. Therefore if there is any bleedthrough, it would be? You got it, CLEAR!
  12. Great job on the Dart. I piccked up those decals a few weeks ago but who knows when I'll get around to building one.
  13. Nice bunch of Mopars and yeah it's always good to get away from work especially when you're cruisin' in your ride.
  14. I've seen this site a few years ago and yes it has lots of pics that are great reference photos.
  15. What's with the car pictures John? You're supposed to post your model pictures.
  16. No I wouldn't want to see that car in kit form and not too many that I do as I have MORE than enough kits in my stash and I'm short on MOTIVATION.
  17. Some of the guys still have some of the Cobra Colors in their stash.
  18. No sweat Rob as you can now get the Elvira figure from Moebius.
  19. I think that I just used the photo on page 100 of the Super Stock Drag Racing The Family Sedan book by Larry Davis and I might have asked Arnie a few questions about the car as I see him a couple of times a year
  20. A "living legend" is Arnie "The Farmer" Beswick and here is a model of his '64 GTO Mystery Tornado.

    67 GTX

Really nice job on that GTX and I'm thinking about starting one also even though I have some works in progress now. What's another one?
  22. Nice workbench and I like your parts cleaner too!
  23. Both of the "bowties" look great, but I would chose the black one.
  24. I consider the time I spend on modeling hours of enjoyment and therefore don't log them. It is interesting to know how much time one spends on a certain model, but nobody I know keeps a log.
