  1. Yes on Feb. 3rd 1957 the Cook & Bedwell dragster made back to back runs of 160 mph + and 24 hours after that the NHRA bnned the use of nitro.
  2. I agree and spend the money for good brushes, clean them thoroughly, and they last a long time.
  3. I'm with you as the thought of moving is a scary idea.
  4. That is a beautiful lookin' Ford Jason as you did a great job building it.
  5. Looks great as I finished one of those last(?) year I believe and it was a fun build. The Cook & Bedwell is an interesting dragster if you read about it.
  6. Wow, is that the Revell kit? VERY nice build.
  7. More prayers for you and your mom Carl.
  8. I also use it on blowers as they are made of materials that can't be chrome plated. They are highly polished so they look like chrome. I've done this a few times as I love drag racing.
  9. I've used Dull-Cote several times in the past on chrome wheels, front bumpers, and moon tanks to make those parts look like aluminum and they look great. Moon tanks are made from polished aluminum and are never chrome. Also Some of the super stocks had aluminum front ends with aluminum front bumpers and the Dull-Cote made it happen. I've also used Dull-Cote over painted surfaces to take down the shine. Try it!
