  2. I'm gona watch this build, great work so far. Love the drive shafts.
  3. I like the Western star that is named (Big Foot) it has planetary drives pit style fenders and a butterfly hood. I live in southern Maine and am thinking of driving up to Millinocket next spring when the're not hauling. Its about 3 hrs for me, it would be cool to get some pictures.
  4. Really nice job, you should be happy.
  5. trailers look great, but if we're voting I'll vote for a C-600 updated with a 3208 kitty cat.
  6. Nice collection, I like them all.
  7. Looks nice so far, it will be cool when done. Is the back end chrome foil?
  8. It's an old Illini resin kit, it came with cab, floor, seats and dash. I put it on a Italeri Opel Blitz frame.
  9. I found this model buried in the bottom of the walk in closet, its been there for about 12 years. I had to hide it when my son was about 2 years old, he broke every model he could get his hands on. It had been hidden so long, I completely forgot about it.
  10. The rims came from a old MPC dodge truck, the truck could be built as a 3/4 ton baha 4x4, or a 1/2 ton 2x4. the rims scaled out to about 18" so I cut the centers out and they fit perfectly into the outer rim from the revell chevy 4x4. I don't really care for the tread on the trackers but the size works well.
  11. I was looking at the built models here and my son had built the snap pete, he had painted that a really dark blue with a sky blue frame. looks nice, kinda showy.
  12. It took a lot of different models to kitbash this truck, the plow is scratch built.
  13. I wouldn't scrap it, put it back in the box and shelve it. Let it set there until you get another inspiration for it, you never know you might go in another direction completely.
  14. looks good, I like the two tone paint.
  15. looking good, those old built-ups can be harder to fix up than starting from scratch.
  16. Hey guys let me know what you think of this rig, The R-600 had it's frame stolen for another project about 15 years ago. Last winter I decided to build it up on a kenworth cabover frame that I acquired in some built ups some years ago. It has a cab guard from AITM, and the visor was from the AMT F150.
