  2. .... noted funny car driven Kelly Chadwick tried his hand with a Vega Pro Stock in 1975 .......... with few results

  4. These were all built from available Monogram Monte Carlo kits along with aftermarket decals

  8. ....... 2-1/2 years after I finished the body ............ Terry Labonte's "Iron Man II" which ran at Phoenix International on Oct. 25, 1998 ....... started 31st and finished 10th in a rain shortened race
  9. That's Cobracolors Candy Apple Green over a Cobracolors Sparkle Silver base ........... unfortunately Leon Tefft had to shut Cobracolors down and these paints are no longer available

  14. Agreed ............ Amarillo had the Amarillo Speed Bowl, a quarter mile clay oval ............. it was the site of weekly battles with the main event being the war between C.J. Biscel in the Plains Chevrolet sponsored sprinter versus Kenny Stidd in the Sid Stout Ford rig

I don't know if this is the same car or not ............. but there was a '29 Ford "Triple Nickel" in Amarillo, Texas in the early '60's ............ it was owned by Don Burch and sponsored by Amarillo Car Bath ............. however, it was powered by a blown Chrysler hemi and was painted black .............. it was replaced by a "T Bucket" which kept the "555" name ............ wonder if this might be the same '29

  17. The chassis and running gear came from a Spy vs Spy Firebird kit .......... any late Revell funny car kit will do ........ slicks and Weld wheels came from Comp Resins
  18. The decals came from Slixx , but I don't think they are available any more
