thanks cain440... and in my opinion an proly alot of others , but i only speak for myself ,all this kit is an has been for yrs is a general lee with a nose an wing, to me the body is fair ( not crisp ,but fair i can work with that ) but as far as the 95% of the rest of the kit is very flawed chassi is of poor quality, as is the engine, an intirior..there are a few good point rims i like ,some engine pieces .. but all in all my opinion if i wasnt a big mopar fan i would not have gottin more than one daytona an general lee from amt... but this is an old mold so for its time im sure it was awsome ...but im not that old ..lol thanks an later days Davin

well its been a wile for an update on this one .. ok i got a few things done like paint , hood scoop. well youll see here i got my aluminum moon discs from my boy at jb-hobbies..(4.00bucks) heres the hood after 3 time doin it....still a lil work left before paint.. in this shot (sry its hard to see) but i had to add 3mm to the front frame section behind the shock mount so it would be centered in the wheel well... and the body is painted still got to color sand an then clear but that will be later on ...still havent found some one to do the decals i need .. but the build will go on.. heres some mock ups ..note there is no supention under the car yet still workin that out.. ENJOY..

well its been some time since i posted on this .. its commin along slow but its gettin there... ok i was havin a prob with the center steer arm hittin the diff cover well (it would not fit).. so here was my fix , i added some hard wire and bent it an used the ends as tierods..to clear the diff and it worked just fine.. heres the rear end had to do the same.. shot of the frame still got some paintin to do.. here im thinkin of puttin some driving lights on the bumper????? the interior is almost done ..heres a few shots ..the colum is a pice of scrap aluminum tube... and heres an over all shot for good times ..... well i got a 69 yenko camaro in the mail from firethorn(thanks bro).. also i finaly got my resin 71 challenger trans kit w/stock flat hood for my motown missile build..from a guy off evilbay ,but direct from him..lol so real good day..

hey bro ur buildin the 68 charger in to a 69 right ...then you should have a HEMI in that kit as well......an the daytona kit.

So let me get this one right...someone is goin to rant an rave an complain about where an how someone should post a comment..in a topic that realy dont have a topic at all ..( NO DISSRESPECT) .. but isnt that a bit hipacritcal.. i like the fact that jb_hobbies put it out there the way he did ..cuz if you look at said caster , in just about every post on here an in every evilbay list ,an on the web site ..said caster is ALWAYS BASHING ALL OTHER CASTERS IN ONE SHOT . sasyin if its not from ME!!!! it not good or its not right.. BULL SPIT GET OVER UR SELF... am i the only one who sees this....but yet alot of members will slam the other member for speakin his/or her mind about said caster. or anythingeles.but the fact never comes up that said caster bashes an slams ALL other casters no mater how good there products maybe..And yet not one other caster that ive seen has ever slamed or bashed any other caster out there.publicly that i kw of ( i may be wrong).. me i love resin parts ......BUT an its abig one , i will not spend my money on over priced parts, some witch i can still get out of a kit off the shelf.....i love jb_hobbies stuff i own a good 100 plus parts of his, as well as some of his detailed motors.. an he will do a 1 of a kind part if u have it or master it he'll cast it,or if its some thin u have an want more of .. an at a cheap price .. find a nother caster that will do that on the spot an get it to you in a 2 weeks or less...., with all this been said ....YOU BUY FROM CASTER/S.. AN I WILL BYE FROM MINE .... ok got a lill bit done on this thing still lookin for a lot of parts i cant find.... well lets get to it yall.... first i started the dash . i cut the insterment panel out to custom make one the gages will be glued in from the back so there resest in .. first pic bad sry.. next i did a fuel pressure gauge.. i used a small piece of 3/16 tube an a decal to make... this is kinda hard to see.... ok here i have had the ??? about the front axle if it goin to be a straight axle .. well no heres the axles done but still need paint... these are my aluminum axles from jbhobbies with there resin parts glued on ... :lol:ok thats it for now ill try to do more but i think i get to go back to workin 60 hrs a week.. its been a long time since i had a job YAY...

brake fluid or purple power ....u can get this stuff at walmart and part stores....let soak like 4 to 8 hrs..then check it ...also it sounds like ur holdin the can to close the body or laing to thick of a coat ...try holdin the can 8 to 10 inches away from the body an do thin lite coats 2 or 3 times....that shoud work out better for ya later days bro davin

lookin good bro ....ya them air cleaner decals are a pain ..you shoud try a decale set solution it makes them more plyable and conforme alot easyer... lets see the body painted .. later days bro Davin

hey bro this is lookin good ....but you asked for it heres the 2 cars i painted watermelon pink for my 2 girls.... the first i said before was a 57 sry its a 60 vette...i jus did the body cuz my 11 yr old girl is puttin the rest together no paint but shes doin all the work... heres the eclipse im doin for my 5 yr old...not much detail paint cuz its prolly gonna get broke...lol an there you go real men paint cars pink..... thanks for lettin me share these with you bro later days my friend Davin.B

you didnt do anything wrong ..ive noticed that there are a few members on here that have been a member for yr or two and have only posted a few times .ur build look killer basicly box stock but otherwise you have done one heck of a job.. and they dont kw how old u are either.. real clean paint an decale settin .. keep it up im lookin forward to seein it in under glass bro... later my friend...Davin
