  1. Have lived in Chicago now for over 27 years (gee, feels like just a few days ago we were going to...).
  2. The recent releases of the AMT American Graffiti '32 Coupe contain clean versions of chrome-reversed wheels.
  3. One of my favorite kits. Hope to look at the Texaco version soon. Thanks for sharing your prep techniques.
  4. Really like the wheels. Have a sweet spot for GTO's.
  5. Picked up the Revell 1937 Ford Conv. with Trailer for under $20.00, two cans Krylon Paint and a roll of masking tape.
  6. Can tell from your work bench you're a newbie. Welcome to the best adventure a person can have with a fistful of styrene in one hand and a tube of glue in the other! This is one of my favorite kits, plenty of opportunity to switch parts and really cool decals. Get the sister kit with the T bucket coupe.
  7. Picked up the sedan and convert. w/ trailer and found platform is interchangeable. Having fun learning how to lower the suspension. Love the proportions.
  8. One of my favorite kits, too. Learned about the limitations of spray can finishes and the importance of rinsing everything with 409 cleaner.
  9. Really like the rake.
  10. Yes, that really turned out great!
  11. Most excellent detail painting! Easy on the eyes metallic finish shines! Thanks for sharing.
  12. Is this some of the brake drum filing finishing? Terrific effect!
  13. Terrific subject matter. Thanks for showing and sharing.
  14. Really like the green '32 with the chopped top, but was blown away by the pair of purple Mercs. Thanks for sharing.
  15. Thanks for sharing...stencil work on top and sides is terrific! Love the skulls...
  16. Ducts on underside are terrific...service center nightmare? Cool!
  17. Whoa! The blue finish is terrific! My nephew would say, "sweet".
  18. Really like the layered decal work.
  19. Thanks for the inspiration. Have a '41 woodie stalled on the bench.
  20. 2 to 1 is ratio I started using when first airbrushing. Remember to use fresh bottles of paint when thinning. Use the least expensive lacquer thinner you can find.
