Beautiful Work! Very Realistic...

Gluing The Ridge! I started by gluing the first Strip along the Straight section on one side. After it dried I started bending the Strip to match the curve. Next I added Zap-A-Gap Glue a little at a time and held the Strip down each time until it dried. Then I would glue a little more, hold it down and then do a little more... Next, I glued down the second Strip the same as the first Strip. After the glue dried I Test Fit the Bubble Top. I had to correct a couple spots by breaking the glue bond with an X-Acto knife. I worked the X-Acto Blade under the Strip and pried it up. Then I repositioned the section and glued it back down. More Coming...

Mounting the Bubble! I will be using Quarter Round Plastic Strips to make a Mounting 'Ridge" to hold the Bubble Top in place. First I tried to Flatten the Mounting Area with a large Sanding Block. Then I started measuring for the Center Line and the outside edge of the Bubble Top Area and marked them. Here is the front section with the Center and Outside Lines marked. Here is the rear with the same Lines marked. Then I traced the shape of the Bubbles on the Front and Rear Areas. More Coming...

Little Details... I added fuel lines from the AMT Star Wars Pod Racer Kit. Then I positioned them then I glued them in place with Zap-A-Gap. I applied a Black Wash over the Rear. Next I used a damp Q-Tip and wiped off some of the Wash from the high spots. Then I painted some details in Red and Green. More Coming...

More Brass! I really like the contrast that the decals added to the AT Speeder, so I decided to paint some of the details in Brass to increase the contrast. Rear View. More Coming...

New Fins! I decided to change the Shape of the Rear Fins. I drew the outlines for the New Fins on the Old Fins. Using a Cut-Off Wheel in a Dremel Tool I cut off the sections to be removed. Next I Sanded down the Shape of the Rear Fins so that they blended into the Wings. I also cut out small Fins for the Front and glued them in place. More Coming...
