  1. Paula and I have had cats the entire 38 years we have been married. Yes, I wanted a dog but then I love all animals. They come into my Hobby Room but never jump up on anything.
  2. Certain cars are and always will be Classics. The 32 five window coupe is one of them. You have done this Classic up right, looks great.
  3. Welcome to the Forum. There is a wealth of knowledge here for you to make use of, but somehow I think you already know that.

    The Blue Deuce

Sure does look good. I like that blue paint job.
  5. I decided to clean up the Hobby Room a little bit today. that required the moving of several models to different shelves as some things were thrown out. Don't know why I kept them in the first place. Some other things were packed away. Back to the models. I noticed that several of the models have no mirrors or other parts I apparently deemed as unnecessary. Now there aren't any glue bombs, but I must admit those first several models are lacking quite a bit. Things have improved and I considered taking them back to the work bench. But I had such fun building them I think I'll just buy more of the same and do a better job the second time around. Of course I could at least dust them off I guess.
  6. because your profile shows your birthday as unknown may be the reason.
  7. Looks good to me Jared. You did a fine job on this one. You can be proud of this build, I would be.
  8. Everyday when I check in I look to see who is having a birthday. It is good to see that, while the ages seem to range from 45 to about 63 there are quite a few that are 20 to 35. Perhaps, someday this Hobby will come back in a strong fashion. Just my thoughts. Oh, for those interested I am 60.
  9. Wow, that's great, another American Company owned by Japan.
  10. This is really neat. Just remember you asked for this.
  11. After carefully reviewing this posting I must say that the turntable must be very large. I also congratulate the videographer on a real good job of filming, but you can't fool me. That thing is real.
  12. Congratulations, you set a goal and are easily within reach of it. Keep up the good work.
  13. I like that clear plastic tray idea, mind if I steal it??
  14. The 18,19 and 20th opf this month brings the AUTORAMA to Cleveland Ohio. It's being held at the IX center, great, wide open spaces, no steps. I heard there will be a Model Show and Toy Show also. Looking forward to seeing what vendors will be there.
  15. Sure is a lot of work but the end product will be worth it. Looking good so far.
  16. I'm one that used to paint the tril with chrome silver paint also. It looked good to me. When these guys first started busted my bubble I thought, hey, it's my model and I think it looks good. Truth be told I was afraid to try something new. But I did and I am glad they busted my bubble over it. It makes a world of difference and isn't really that hard to work with. Try it, be patient, use a sharp #11 blade to trim with and marvel at the difference.
  17. The paint I used is what I use as a primer for everything. I just did not sand down the seats. Color Place Grey Primer
  18. I've been working on this all day. Well when I could tear myself away from the Gremlin thread that is. Got the body painted. Got the interior painted. Got more work done on engine and frame. Comments or suggestions are welcome. T hank's for looking. Please leave comments, it's how I learn.
  19. When I got back into building models I went through the tips and tutorials section and printed out a lot of information. I also went through the tips and tutorials section of SA. Put all that information in a three ring binder
  20. When I bought this kit and opened it I was really impressed with the quality. I'm going to paint the body Marina Blue with a gray and Marina Blue accents interior. Got some work done on it but just noticed some idiot forgot to paint the Air Conditioning Compressor. Ant thoughts or comments are always welcome. Even the tailpipes are drilled out for me, wow, I'm impressed.
  21. Good job on building one like the 1 to 1. Looks real good.
  22. This turned out really spot on a 1960 Chevy, looks great.
  23. This is a very nice build of a Classic Hot Rod of the sixties. Like the paint choice and the overall build looks good and clean. But, with me being old school I would have went with Cragers or Keystone and period correct tires.
