  1. Beautiful! Great job, the stance is perfect. The foiling looks superior. Is the windshield frame kit chrome or foil? Steve
  2. That's exactly what I'm doing, but I am scratchbuilding the supercharger and intercooler. Here is the supercharger.. Starting with an older vette engine.. The intercooler in the works..
  3. Sorry I beat you to it Rommel, any tips or ideas are welcome. I'm working on an LS9 for this as well as full engine bay detail. Thanks all. Steve

  10. Thanks Skip, ALMS stands for "American Le Mans Series". This 3D rendering by VizualTech is their concept of what a Camaro might look like if there were one in the ALMS. Steve

  13. Thanks bowtie. By the way if anyone was wondering, this is the AMT Camaro kit. I hate the red plastic but otherwise the kit is pretty detailed aside from the rear suspension and axle. Here is a mockup showing how much the wheels were moved out and up.
  14. I enlarged the lower opening of the front and built up the lower edge with stock plastic Here are the new openings on the hood and the start of the new bigger cowl.. And finally, the new complete hood
  15. Hello all, I'd like to share my current project, this is my first wip. I knew I wanted to do something with the new Camaro, so while surfing Google images for inspiration I spotted this concept rendering.. Wow, how cool would it be to build this or something similar. So that is what I am doing. I'm not after replicating this exactly but will use this as a reference. I'll be scratchbuilding allot and using tons of parts from the partsbox and a few aftermarket items. So here goes. Wheels are from an old Tamaya Skyline, tires are from a diecast nascar, sanded way down to be low profiles. Here the wheel wells have been drastically cut out to make room to move the wheels out and up..
  16. Wow, very cool, I would hate to meet up with this one on a dark street. One thing though, is this suppose to be a sleeper? Because your thread title indicates that it can't sleep... Steve
  17. GT4 was alot of fun, that was how many years ago? And were still waiting on 5... here are some of my shots. I built the 300Z but have re painted it red since. Steve

Thanks everyone for the great feedback. I did resist temptation before finishing this build to shoot some clear coat over it, I couldn't decide which would look cooler, I'm now glad I didn't do it. That Cougar looks great Jantrix and I look forward to seeing your GTO.
