  1. I bought this kit today based on this thread its nice. needs some custom wheels tho like Forgiatos
  2. Same here, ill get one to support revell but for now i got my sights set on the jeep.
  3. Smooth on, for tires i use Alumilite the same stuff MA's uses
  4. Casting tires is a headache molding is a bigger headache especially when making multiple molds of the same part it gets really annoying to make the same setup out of clay, after some thinking i came up with this setup its not 100% permanent but it wont get destroyed after one pour. Youre gonna need wax, double boiler set up, basic clay tools and some shapes to pour them in rather than trying to carve a circle out of wax i used the master itself then its always a perfect fit for the most part you dont have to mold release anything but the cup and tire. first get the wax nice and melted pour a little into the cup and master the tire it cools in about 20 minutes after their both cooled solid use some melted wax to seal them together heres the part on the fixture once poured i can flip the tire and re pour a new mold i got lazy rather then using glue to fix the base to the mold box i poured some wax in there to seal it here it is without the mold box.
  5. i guess im gonna be casting it in the future, i hate when people do things like that.
  6. im redoing the seat but its almost off the bench, its really hard to catch the teal with this camera
  7. i feel your pain ive debated casting the conversion kit i have but it might ruffle some feathers i have started to mold the front bumper cover since its really the only part i need since im doing both movie cars
  8. Rotofugi, its a Hipster store in Chicago.
  9. A post just went missing, makes you wonder which mod is in pocket with RR.
  10. no windshield look
  11. no wiring or any jazz just a simple build. color is chezoom teal and the white is humbrol off white.
  12. They seem to be selling, seen a few banged up ones which doesnt surprise me since you cant see BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH outside of them. GM is just milking money off them, The HW option by itself is around 4 grand and its all aesthetics no performance options included.
  13. Biggest waste of money is going for the Hotwheels option itself
  14. I know a few sport bike riders that have them, they wear faster than traditional black tires, by almost half.
  15. i should try that i havent gotten too familier with Emboss been trying loft, shell, and bend more. but someone said it is possible to do organic shapes using the surface command, whats the file type to use corel draw text in Inventor?
  16. you dont have a Array or pattern window? what i do is draw them as rectacles(oversized) them extrude cut to whatever diameter the tire is gonna be (OD first) then i revolve the solid then pattern the threads around the solid tire. Sidewall detail is a pain for me im still working on it.
  17. Code scanner/gauge had to build a mount used styrene to build the mount i plan on painting it and fixing the mount to the base.
