  1. We have our own tool and die in house, it consists of 2 CNC's that replaced 7 people at one point. 3D printing isnt a threat to them CNC is, well to the ones who still do it manually.
  2. Ditched the goofy bumpers, shaved the Chev and molded the pans. Still using the Vandal decals with some touches but the paint needs a update. The base is Tangelo with nail polish overcoat.
  3. Autodesk Inventor student edition, cool i would love to see more stuff on the market..
  4. 19$ before shipping, i tend to order 50$ worth of parts to offset the shipping cost., Not yet have been eyeballing SL printers for a while but its a bit out of my range now since i had to replace my 1:1. 30-45 minutes give or take i try to make them as close to the 1:1 but keeping what the printer can and cant do in mind to prevent part rejection.
  5. I learned about this from my Childhood model building days i would never tell my friends where i got what from where cause if i did they would hit the place and swipe what i want from under me.
  6. while the ZL1 and Mustang dry off i put in a little body work into Daft Punk saved and molded both the rear and front pans, shaved the tailgate, and filled in some sinkmarks, im sticking to the showrod stance with this it wont be a lowered van
  7. its a beautiful kit i bought it on a whim
  8. Hmm so it will have something to do with Johnny Tran
  9. the wheels ruined the kit first thing i did was throw out the crappy beadlocks i swapped them for some ANMT Nascar COT wheels
  10. Not really since theyre diecast based they look pretty terrible, probably use the aoshima lifted hilux ones after modifying the tire.
  11. been following this build on AF i love the work i really want this kit.
  12. That would be a little far fetched though since Dom knew he passed in Drift, what im interested is how 7 gonna play out and whether they pick Sean for the crew or not.
  13. a little upset about the jeeps wheels but otherwise it looks ok.
  14. someone on this board says 3D printed parts dont clean up well
  15. all the LXs were gone when i got there.
  16. Its my gift to my dad for fathers day he loves stangs, The build is a take on this i drew some wheels resembling the hot-wheels wheels and keeping the HW tradition i made them staggered in size so theyre 18/20 They were designed for revell tires but revell tires ended turning it into a monster truck with the craptastic sidewalls so i switched to some aoshima tires now it looks a lot more presentable im gonna go with the HW color scheme with a matching interior. heres how it looked on the Revell Avis Rent a car tires.
  17. After FNF 6 is when the events of Tokyo Drift take place, FNF 7 takes place after Han passes
  18. Thats soo cool ive been seeing the 2013 series and it inspired me to build a Hot Wheels inspired mustang for my dad complete with custom matching Hot Wheel like wheels.
  19. Not just 3D printing but 3D imaging which is why moebius is so fart ahead of the game compared to revell and AMT the reason theyre so behind is because they stick to traditional tool and die methods as opposed to rapid prototyping and you end up with a chop top mustang,
  20. Lol im not the only keeping track of the timeline
