  1. i sent the other hinge for a builder to test out when i get his feedback thats when ill put them up for sale

I am very happy its all glued into place with CA for testing but its worked only problem is friction it drops hard gonna do some slight adjustments to the door mount area. i cant make a stop post to keep the door from swinging down you have to figure out your own way reason i did this was to make it as universal as possible.
  4. youre in La grange so am i, 25th is about to get shut down not sure about maple but that might follow soon after.

  7. I always go for shinny then hit it with 2000 grit then wax the finish looks about right
  8. Thanks, true but theres stuff being printed smaller than this and theyve come out great but this wont be hard to clean up found out they sell sanding sticks with points on them thats why i returned to making small items im also looking at a sand tumbler for projects like these
  9. first few attempts werent great but i fixed it got it close without pushing shapeways limits, the airhorn is for show so are the turbo splines.but i got it up on my site

  11. this, but considering what revell has brought to the table in recent years they can kick rocks in that department, what annoys me is the crappy tires they come with like "hey lets make all our tires look like those crappy discount tires you get at wallmart" only makes the finished product look like something you rent at Avis combine that with crappy custom wheels and it looks like a old man that thought the 2200$ custom wheel option was a good idea.

  13. they were never narrowed tho not when they started using platform bodies the trunks do get shorter but i might be keeping it.
  14. model a rear fenders, packard front fenders, 77 cadillac promo base. the rest of the car will be sourced from various kits. im on the fence about the trunk i might bob it down a few scale inches to keep the stock bumper

  17. i wouldve but i lost the other 2 matching wheels i didnt really want to swap, theyll be other chances to bastardize another car.
  18. i ended up loosing the wheels i had planned on using and the substitutes werent any better so i decided to go Custom
