  3. can you explain this process more im very interested
  4. snap tite kit, resin copies of 3d printed wheels paint is all testors cleared in urethane interior is unpainted or detailed
  5. its a snap tite not gonna be as fancy as the gasser using my custom 3d printed wheels i made copies of. Anthracite pearl it was boring in one color so i tried a new testors color first fitting. looks boring needs more color much better the interior is snap tite stock im giving this thing away so im not going to put too much effort other than making it presentable
  6. thats just the R/C body
  7. I wouldnt some of my stuff is drawn in a way that will shred a mold if casted, for me it would have to be very OOP to consider modelling it like the chezoom.
  8. soon there will be more stuff, the chezoom chassie is similar to the testors one except less features to save costs it can also be printed in a weighed material, other chassies will soon be available. new stuff added weekly. my wheel sizes were off they have been since been properly sized http://www.shapeways.com/shops/shapeways.com/shops/odd
  9. a lot of builders swear by it, i use it to give a seal to my FUD parts to make them castable
  10. from ebay and the with the commision from drawing and producing this wheel i bought this
  11. Very, depending on your design i learned from my prototypes now every wheel i get made is a 3 piece wheel. Yes but then that also depends on its design, my wheels look raw because in order to get a smoother model they needed to have a higher polygon(triangles) count the ones i posted fall between 14k to 22k ive been trying to get my count up to 50k. The ones i have are like a resin compound never ordered anything less than SLA printed models so i cant say for the compound of the other 2 but theyre either PLA or ABS.
  12. Heres stuff i had made before i learned about Meshes and Polygon counts making a difference in finish. this is another builders work this displays the quality of the various materials price point reflects output.
  13. its not as easy ive been working on making a 3d printable body out of one of those for almost a month if it wasnt for NormL helping me out i wouldve gave up by now.
  14. actually theres soft compound material thats available but still in its early stages.
  15. Sketchup is probably the best option out, Blender as well.
  16. you only need 1 semester of it.
  17. print body without front clip
  18. ill pass on that one, good for big scale items tho.
  19. love it for airbrushing i use it for aclad basecoat
  20. Man they stole quite a bit from the GTR too, they changed their motto too by stealing SAABs.
