  1. All the audio stuff was stuff i had laying around, i didnt want to use a car headunit since am/fm stations in illinois suck beyond buzz lightyears to infinity and beyond motto. Its a 40W set up using a re-purposed AV amplifier powered by a converted pc powersupply. It gets pretty loud enough to hear bass over the CNCs i plan on upgrading the amplifier in the future to a higher output and adding some usb chargers.
  2. thats one insane looking whip
  3. if youre wondering why my new wheels have no lug patterns heres why, i dislike wheel lugs this is doable in 1:1 but then we would be paying 10k for wheels
  4. 22s ive been studying CORR wheels i figure theyre the best in between medium for everyone
  5. i was bracing for the worst but thats actually a really nice kit
  6. massive cleanup going on
  7. I got to see a opened kit i passed the wheels suck worse than a pyro 48 lincolns
  8. went to buy the 50 olds but it came off as a BLAH kit in my hands bought this instead going to build it for my GF, they had the Foose Firebird kit there and Revell did pull a AMT rides the wheels were junk compared to the box art at least you could see how bad the amt wheels were.
  9. not from the dealer but probably from the police department.
  10. the old batmobile needs a new set of rollers
  11. to change your blinker fluid
  12. got the van really really really cheap
  13. Asanti did some wood grain wheels back in the late 90s they looked awesome i do plan on releasing a set where it might be doable with balsa
  14. for a ridiculous amount of money i can or you can buy the file which can be converted to g code and get them machined yourself.
  15. i agree to me i found the modelling community lacking in "luxury" type wheels
  16. thanks, all wheels will be 3 piece or 2 piece that way no one can complain about offsets and what not. theyre really cool check out the video.
  17. someone went the prototyping route, nice
  18. more than likely the FT86 and Ferrari and whatever else is on the bench but no new builds for a while
  19. Im taking possibly very long break from building. Im going to focus more on getting ODD Wheels up and running i also need to save some money for a lathe and a high res 3D printer. Like i Stated in the past my wheels will be based on Forged or 3PC wheels and will only come in 22" all wheel sets will be limited to 20 copies. As a what builders call a wheel (oldest profession)ive got to see the highs and lows of model car wheels and as urban style builder not much has come in the way of wheels in the part few years. Pegasus wheels are dated,Hoppin Hydros hasnt done anything relevant in years,,AMTs donk wheels were ok but failed miserably on the tire department,Fujimis are dated and kinda bland, Revell tried but now it just has the sorriest looking custom wheels of any model company it stuff you would see in the 600$ a set catalog at pepboys again with bad tires. Aoshima caters more to the sporting crowd not the "Urban style" builder. 2013 is going to be interesting year. this wheel is the first one to come out in January 2013 its getting molded and casted depending on reception they will follow as well
