  2. this is actually a rebuild of a old car which for some reason had a reaction develop in the paint 2 years after it was built seeing as it only needed a paintjob i decided to get up and done with. the paint is nailpolish fluorescent orange. the wheels tires and offset are all resin pieces i made.

  6. off to the dunk tank with this one the clear started flaking off in some spots during polishing
  7. you wouldnt believe me if i told you lol, its plain ol testors from the bottle.
  8. left the charger as is, after a day in the dehydrator the testors was hard, humbrol not so much. humbrol isnt bad i like their other colors but ive noticed their gloss black kills testors gloss black by leaps and bounds problem is the 6 month drying time(figuratively speaking). i got a dimmer box but i dont use my dremel i use a harbor freight dremel that has no speed control. its purple just a really bad shade thats no where near the cap kind of purple
  9. so far humbrol is failing, monty i used a dremel to stir it
  10. wont know first time testing it the bodies are on the lower tray 8 inches above the coil, yeah ive had it a few months but the lid has always been the same color im gonna mix my own with testors paints
  11. this is supposed to be humbrol purple it looks like well you know what except he had nothing but grape chews all day good thing its just a scrap body im testing the dehydrator today with to bodies on the lower deck

  18. coo, ive been wanting to use more and more enamels lately just takes forever to get anything done because of time. im just bored of the headaches with laquers
  19. i kinda figured lol, what about this setup? 2 trays above the coil. heres how i planned on doing it
  20. the minute i read fox in peters post i stopped reading, the ads were ok, GMs below the belt commercial was eh at best, even the green hell commercial made us laugh because they subconsciously stated that BMW makes a better car. saw the NSX before release definetly fuunny. this shouldve been a commercial
  21. just got this its a Ronco with 7 trays no on/off switch the top has a spinning thing which im guessin controls the temperature i cut all but two trays since it looked tall enough for 2 bodies. now for the questions can i do 2 bodies more if i can fit them? how long can the bodies sit? how long should the bodies sit? will it work on other paint besides enamels like say autoair acrylic paint and urethane clear? how do i know if its too hot? will it be too hot at the bottom tray?
