  2. i shouldve listened but didnt want to when i picked this kit, i knew it was a lot of work but didnt care was between ideas jk its gonna be a gasser the interior was gonna be stock but im gonna change that since i had a extra 52 pontiac read deck i wasnt gonna use i made that into the new bench seat
  3. dry enough to move around not sure what im gonna do to the top
  4. call it a maaco special. i wasnt about to try my luck putting that dinky mirror on, i hate rearview mirrors in general none of my models have them

  8. the grille stays i dont like the other grille its too bentley looking
  9. use acrylic enamel reducer as opposed to laquer or acetone
  10. always wanted to build one of these after seeing so many of them as customs the chrome steelies were junk so i went with the drag wheels on old school pegasus tires, the paint is gonna be a 60ish panel style paintjob having way too much fun with these testors paints. decided to hit the catalina with this. this is more of a color than it is candy but this is the base for the panel paintjob, not sure if i wanna spray the wheels the same color yet
  11. im on the hunt for gasser parts if you have any specifically front wheels and tires
  12. its close but no this thing is about the size of the common 96 fleetwood
  13. ive had this nissan president vip kit a few years now the first one i ever build its gone through a few phases this current one being the third and final phase. the original paintjob was black, second paintjob was that duplicolor flip flop stuff, third and hopefully final paintjob is nailpolish red metallic with testors candy red over it. the pictures dont really show how deep the color is but at only 2 coats its DEEEP
  14. i love it but it fisheyes too much no matter how much i clean, whats the trick to it
  15. i wanna convert time to as ""stock"" as possible im using the tbird bucket for the interior but the chassie is way too big. from wheel to wheel its exactly 5 inches what i wanna know is whats the wheel to wheel on a early 90s amt mustang kit
  16. im assuming its a spec racer with those tiny rollers
  17. usually when im being lazy doing tin foil in strips around windows is counter productive timewise. unless its a complicated set up ill do it in 2 tiers like the rear window. i always have enough scraps to do door handles and any other minor foiling ive yet to do name badge trim with it cause its too thick for that. nah ive had that roll 2 years almost its barely half way used
  18. sprayed a second coat on my exes chevelle, got a dirty donny van going to do it 80s style with some graffiti on the sides and open the rear doors and build a wall of death(subwoofers) still cleaning the 55 from seams and such.
  19. its much brighter and if you want that true aluminum trim and you have to do is flip it to the other side
  20. thanks, i put the decals on used the hottest decal set available then i gave them a semi gloss clear then a flat clear. a guy sells them on ebay ive been trying to get a second set but i never have enough when i run my numbers.
  21. been trying to it does look better, i dont mind i have a seemingly endless supply and once i learned the right grit to hone blades i dont change them out as much.
  22. thanks this one is a Revell,
