  1. How come there isn't a spellcheck button in the newly updated/upgraded posting window?
  2. I am not a kit historian, but would it even be possible to research the employee records of the AMT company, finding out what position they held with the company.Would anyone know if these are even a matter of public record.
  3. Super September Showdown XII
  4. Terry,I received mine today in this part of Connecticut. Maybe you should move.
  5. How about a straight on pic of the rear.I would like to see how you did the taillights. Please
  6. All a person needs is a calculator.Take the 1/1 dimension and divide it by the scale you are looking for.Example 3" exhaust in 1/25 equals .120 just a hair under 1/8 inch.
  7. Why would anyone want to go any where else,Norm does it all.
  8. Mr.Yost, Thank you for letting me be the 1st dumb kid in the smart row. Please paint something for the masses, your talent will not go unanswered.Later,Dude
  9. Well, Donn got $60.00 out of me for his videos. You're missing alot of good info and techniques of how-to on your models if you don't pick up his videos. He might be old,but he knows what he's talking about.
  10. I just don't have a list of my favorites hand,I include everybody. You never know when you might need that special part.
  11. Here's my list of aftermarket suppliers http://www.shadows-alley.com/shadows_alley/modelhotlinks.htm
  12. Gregg and company,another Homerun!!
  13. Terry, Cool pic of the center drill.I have a few of them in my toolbox.
  14. After seeing the pic, what you have is a solid carbide drill with the standard 1/8" shank. As stated before, the ring with #57 on it is the size of the drill.Carbide drills are more expensive than High Speed Steel drills an also more brittle, they snap off easier. You can look on Ebay, search for carbide drills, you will be surprised how many of them are listed.
  15. Jim,I am not familiar with the term weighted drill bit.Any drill bit you put into your Dremel will be limited to the size of the collet you have in the tool, unless you have a drill chuck made for the Dremel.Your local hardware store should have the sizes that you need.
  16. Just a hunch, but could it be distributor? The wonders of spellcheck.Thank you for including that that feature in the posting window.
  17. You only need to stick out of the pin vise the amount you need to drill the hole, then the rest of the drill will be supported in the pin vise, less chance for breakage.
  18. I would suggest looking in the train section of a hobby store.I have found brass rod there down to .005 dia.
  19. How often are there paint/lacquer fumes in your clothes dryer? I can't wait until the I had a explosion and fire post.Unless you have a shaded pole blower motor I would not use any motor that came out of an household appliance.

Looks like you overcame the difficulties with the kit and have a nicely built model to show for it.
  21. It's always nice when repairs don't cost you an arm and a leg.
  22. Good News for you.Terry, does this mean you'll be walking around NNL East with a chili dog?
  23. Gregg,I guess I was a little premature earlier this month.Happy Birthday again.
