  1. thanks again guys!
  2. I really like that nomad. good job on all of them too.
  3. Thanks again for the comments. I went thru 3 different grills trying to drill it out evenly and I just lost patience with it so I just tossed it in with out drilling it, maybe one day when I'm board I will pop it out and drill it.
  4. Do you have any more pics of the shop truck, I started it a while ago but it has gone on the back burner all I could find were two pics of it, this one makes three
  5. that is one bright ford, looks like it held up well.
  6. Thanks guys, If any one wants some scraps of the laminate wood I always have pieces left over from work, send me a pm and I will mail you some. The front axle is really loose feeling it moves really easy, I probably did some thing to damage it
  7. I finished this up the other day, Its my first chop and channel, I'm pretty happy with it (of course their are a couple things I would do better next time). I used wood laminate from my new job for the roof rack, I gotta say I love how it turned out. The grill is some scrap aluminum from work. The wheels and tires are from my parts box, I wanted to use some pie crust slicks out back but didn't have any, I will keep my eye out for some and change it later. I scratch built the visor also. when I drilled the holes for the intake I missed my mark so the intakes are leaning forward, I don't know why but the front passenger wheel is sagging so I'm kinda bummed on that. the tail lights are gonna be changed, it looks to street roderish for my taste. so yeah, I'm pretty happy with it, let me know what you guys think thanks mat
  8. I like it! I have been wanting to build one of thiese for a while, now I gotta get one.
  9. Wow great job, I usually don't like flames but you did a great job!
  10. The road agent has a two piece round "sail thingy", the beatnik bandit's are flat so I dont think they share any of the same parts. thier is a small trunk behind the bubble top. not a large cover like what come in the beatnik bandit.
  11. When I first starting building again last year I didn't know all the things I can do to make my model look better (wired, polished paint scratchbuilding etc.) so I could blow thru them pretty fast, now that I'm trying new things and ideas it is taking me longer to finish a model, which is ok by me I like the finished product better.
  12. I'm working a 32 sedan right now, its my first chop. I hope to have it done soon, I kinda went into it blind but it looks just like yours!
  13. Why does every one gotta blame the Murphys?
  14. Wow! you did a fantastic job I love that car and you did it justice!
  15. I love this car! But I do love me a bubble top. You guys should check out www.youdrivewhat.com their alot of "interesting" cars on their.
  16. I have seen a few of these things and they are just horribly gross
  17. Under where? I too found this forum earlier this year I haven't built model cars since a little kid so I have learned alot from you fine people! This year is bound to be better, I got a new job this week so life is getting better.
  18. Today was my second day at my new job! I have been a carpenter for the last 6 or 7 years and now I'm doing cabinet work, it sure is nice to work in side! congratulations on you're new job!
  19. Gotta love a 49 merc. Great job!
  20. X 4 on the rims. Other wise great build!
  21. I love you're work. it is amazing!
  22. Their are a few kits I would love to buy multiples of but thier are so many kits out thier that I want to build it would be hard for me to buy the same kit over. I also don't have a large budget for kits at this time (hopefully that changes because I just got a new job about and hour ago!). If they ever relase a 65 or 66 f-100 I will buy atleast 3 of those but thats only because I have a 56 f-100.
  23. Life may be getting better! I just got a call from a cabinet shop that I have been trying to get hired at and I start tomorrow. Its less than I was making before but it is steady work and its a job I have fun doing!!!!!! I hope everyone else's luck turns around. p.s. I'm not trying to brag I'm just super duper excited.
