  4. Thanks, the flathead came with the kit, with the ardun heads, you have a eagle eye I would of never seen that with my blurry pic. I was thinking about how loud it would be, but that can be part of the fun sometimes thanks for all the nice words from everybody (even criticism helps me) cheers mat

  6. I have 19 finished 5 in boxes and 1 that I'm going to start on tonight. I only build one at a time otherwise they would never get done I have been tempted to rob parts but I just cant bring myself to do it, which is good. cheers mat

Thanks for the complements, I have seen a few truck with the exhaust ran like this and thought it was cool so I thought i would give it a go, their is a awesome local mid 50's chevy that has em ran like this. the trophies were and last minute idea so I just tossed them in the bed like the guy didnt care too much about winning trophies. cheers mat

Hello again, This is my first time doing any sort of scratch building, its fun and ill do it again here is what I did Fender skirts are sheet styrene, bedcover is grooved sheet styrene, visor is from the front of the trailer from the silhouette model cut up and formed, I used solder for the exhaust , I frenched the antennas using metal tubes and push pins for antennas, frenched the taillights and used 1960 chevy taillights. I also lowered it because customs sit low, but I guess revell doesn't know that. I had a lot of fun with this model, I've been building 60's show cars and its nice to have some creativity. I had some problems with the paint ( I do every time, but less and less on each build) and a few other things here and their but let me know what you fine folks think cheers mat

  14. Any thing 60s and earler, back when their was style to cars. Now every thing looks like a honda, I do have a soft spot for old mopars and fords but any thing old and american I tend to love cheers mat

  20. Hello again, here is a lil back story on this kit. When I was about 12 or13 I had the owner of the lhs order this kit for me, well she sold it to someone else. I was so mad, I have never forgotten about it. Well I finaly got it off of e-bay, it wasent compleatly all their but most of it was, it is my holy grail, the one that got away! and now I have it. I was smileing the whole time I was working on it, it is by far the best custom/hotrod of all time. cheers mat

  24. Its the deora, built by the Alexander brothers in the late 60s I belive, maybe older or newer, I cant remeber. Once again thanks for the comments cheers mat
