  2. I had a good year uptill about a month ago, construction slows down every time around this year but this is crazy. I'm just scraping by.....now back to your comedy show
  3. They look good, and welcome to the forum!
  4. The 62 f-100. I have been looking for it for a while and have come up with nothin, I saw owe built up on e bay but forgot to bid on it, I really want it but I'm also a cheapskate so we will se how that works out.....
  5. I keep on seeing thies older kits built up, did you build them back in the day or are they kits you have built up recently? by the way they look good.
  6. The problem with e-bay and the inter web is everyone thinks they have a gold mine but it turns out is just junk and they will try to sell it a few times but in the end it will just go to the scrapper
  7. Looks good, Its alot of fun building cars you had growing up, I just did a plymouth fury I had a few years back, It made it the most special model I have ever done. your car looks good.
  8. Wow those are great! good job!
  9. Welcome! It is great to see younger people building
  10. Thanks alot guys, sadly I had to sell the car which still makes me very sad, I will always miss her. I forgot to add that I made the seats tuck and roll from some grooved sheet styrene with some dirt on the seats, I was pretty proud of how they turned out evan though you cant see them very well in the pics.
  11. That is awesome, I never have seen it before, I said to my self I need to build this kit, then you guys went and smashed me dreams:lol: It does look great!
  12. That color is great! and the exhaust is really cool.
  13. Thanks everybody!
  14. I really like the graffiti you added but it seems a little bit too small, I used to paint graff and it would be pretty tough to spray something that small with a can, I think it would look good if you had a big spray bomb on the outside, I wasn't trying to say any thing bad but just give you my opinion, you're work is amazing!
  15. the scallops are painted on. The vip was a two door with a different roof, I bet it would work but take a lil bit of work
  16. I'm gonna print out some diffrent plates for it, I just got a printer from my parents but it need color ink and I'm broke, so when I get some extra cash thats on the list of things I need to get thanks.
  17. Thanks I'm confused by " looks like get to tho"
  18. I generally don't like purple but it looks great on this, I love it.
  19. I have been wanting to build this old jo-han kit for a long time and I finally got it, I had a 67 Plymouth fury (I know they are slightly different but I figured they were close enough). It is plumbed wired foiled and flocked and I added a bunch of small details that only I will notice but I just had to for this kit. A couple of things I was really excited about were the gear shift, I had a big pabst blue ribbon tap handle and so i made one out of some sprue, the lil bit of striping on the air cleaner is almost just like what I had same with the dash, the sob bottle in the back window now hangs above my work bench. I broke the rear driver side window trying to fix it so it had a piece of plexi glass in it that never stayed up with a clay smith sticker. The kit didn't have the chrome side trim so I took some strip styrene and added some . They hood ornament is from the Chrysler turbine car and the tires are from the parts box. I'm not 100% happy with the scallops but they are good enough for me, I need to keep a eye out for a different grill to graft on her and another set of tail lights to make it look a little bit better. Thanks for looking and any comments are welcome. cheers mat One of the few pics I still have of her P.S. feel free to post pics of cars you had and made into a model
  20. Keep up the great work it looks fantastic, I cannot wait to see it finished
  21. Do we really need to go over this again?
  22. HI, welcome to the forum!
  23. Last year on Dec. 5th I was driving home after work and a 21 year old girl pulled out if front of me and the guy in the other lane, I missed her but the other guy t-boned her. I ran to her car and almost got hit myself due to other people not Evan slowing down, the poor girl was bleeding real bad and ending up dieing a few minutes later. It has been hard for the last few days remembering that and how sad it was. The guy driving the car that struck her had no injuries and was physically ok. A few days after the accendet I found out that a friend of mine was friends with the girl. So drive safe. sorry not trying to hi-jack the thread but I felt that I should share. thanks mat
  24. I really like how simple it is, not over done but just right. I would like to see some taillights on here too but it is perfect otherwise.
  25. Nice clean build!
