Small update today but I received my other metal powders so I used the steel on the fuel tanks and the gray metal on the dump body.

Nice seat Brian! I picked up a tip to prevent bleed through on one of the model forums by putting some clear coat over the tape edge ( I used model master clear in the bottle ) with a brush and have been able to have good luck with it.

Your Mack is coming along nicely.

Rich I had the same problem with my air brush and ended up having to replace the nozzle and needle.

Sean don't give up your off to a good start and you will make it through sometimes it takes me a couple times to get things the way I want them. Looking forward to seeing more progress.

Thanks Michael Rich thanks I like the chrome powder and have ordered there steel and gray powders. The cab came with the metal grill that will look like this when I get to where I'm ready glue it in.

Joe nice progress and wow that body sure has a lot of mold lines to fix. I know that you will make it all nice and smooth.

Thanks for the continued comments guys I do appreciate them Even with all the rain we have been getting here in Houston I've been able to get some more painting done. I used BMF on the radiator grill and chrome powder on the rest. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do with the fuel tanks yet either black, chrome or aluminum
